Unique, delicious starters, cocktails, entrees, and desserts, and excellent (friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive) service made our dinner memorable and enjoyable.
We really enjoyed Our dinner at Corner Kitchen, i had the mussels that were on the special menu, my husband had the dry aged ribeye that was on the special menu, and we both Loved our dinners! Our waitress was good but got very busy with multiple tables so it was a bit difficult to get drink refills etc.
We visited for the first time with the new owners. We were all pleased with our experience.

This was my first time at Corner Kitchen. Will definitely go back! Tasty cocktails, my steak was tender and cooked as requested. Our server was great. It was pricey, but worth it. Note- the sides we ordered (garlic mashed and Mac and cheese) were both large enough to share!
First time back since the new management took over. Our server was so pushy and aggressive. I guess thatâs what you do when you are a server but we barely had a chance to look at the menu and she was pushing food on us⦠got our drinks (old fashioned and cranberry mule) which were delish. My partner ordered a chicken Caesar salad which he enjoyed and I ordered the beef tips from the starter menu and asked it to be plated with 2 sides, asparagus and fries., which it was. The beef tips were the weirdest everâ¦. They apparently are deep fried and seemed to have some kind of crispy coating on the outside, which could have been just the âfriedâ part. When i asked our server if they were gluten free, she said âwell, i guess they would be wouldnât they? They are just beefâ⦠which i found to be a poor answer. So knowing, i preferred gluten free, she proceeded to suggest cakes, brownies and other non-GF foods rather than just let us eat our meals. I felt the $72 bill was a lot for a salad and some sides but the drinks always bring the coast up. I did tip well because I believe everybody deserves a decent wage.
Service impeccable, food delicious. Their take on shrimp and grits with the Korean bbq sauce, just amazing and very generous with the number of shrimp. My firmedâs shper tender short rib and delicious mashed potatoes were crazy good. Thank you, Thank you!!

First of all, being a gin lover, Tony T has created the best gin based drink called the Alaskan Ice Storm. You need to come in, see him and get this drink 10/10! Then enjoy the friendly staff, feel like you're at home and enjoy a selection from a menu nowhere in the area offers. They have selected ingredients that make their dishes 5 star and prepare them to perfection. This is a Gem of Dayton... don't think twice when deciding where to go!Ask for Tony T and get the Alaskan Ice Storm, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Tonight was the Steak Frites (fries) and a side of the unique Chipotle mac-n-cheese.
