We came for dinner around 6p on a Friday and got the Walleye Special.. yes delicious ?.. Morgan was very friendly and attentive.
Amazing staff and service!! Even under-staffed with longer wait times, they did WONDERFUL!! Food was great, drinks were perfect, and the Waiter/Bartender did an outstanding job taking care of everyone even while extremely busy. She kept up and made sure EVERYONE was satisfied all by herself!! Super kind, Super patient, and most of all Super worth it!!
This little place is in a strip mall near base housing for Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The store front is unassuming, maybe even a little frayed. You won't find glitzy lights here. What you will find is a menu that has remained almost the same for many years. The steaks are just fabulous, they are cooked exactly to order, and they are very generous. The meal size salads offer even the heartiest appetite a challenge, I would suggest the blackened chicken salad with house dressing. The appetizers they offer are just standard frozen food with appropriate dipping sauce, so unless you have a love affair with fried mushrooms or cauliflower, it would be okay to pass. During this transition to restaurants serving customers once again, a few things like a baked potato might be missing, but your server will direct you wisely. If you visit Dayton and want to try out one of the longstanding traditions, this is the one. Priced just above average, but you will not be disappointed. They deliver.
Wonderful, tasty food. Hamburgers, fish sandwich and Rice 'O Pat are delicious. It takes an hour to get your food but it's worth the wait. Just wish the lighting wasn't so dark inside the restaurant!

New to the area. First timers.. 45 minutes on the kitchen, totally fine we were going to drink and have a fun time. They were out of Ribs on the menu, bartender said they stopped serving Ribs a year ago. Menu not up to date. And with covid?? Bartenders playing with their hair while serving customers. Not a good experience. We won't be back. Bartender didn't like the music being played so turned up the tv volume and down the music.
Great food, horrible ticket times.Fifty minutes for a BLT and a club sandwich on a Sunday at 2pm with two other tables is absurd. And a measley 1 oz pour for a Beam and Coke. If it's going to take forever to get the food out, at least make folks happy with a decent drink.
I actually really love this place but the wait time for food is so ridiculous when they aren't even that busy. I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings...received my burger and onion rings five minutes later. Something just needs to change. A Bar Rescue would be great for Clancys
Watching the March madness on their big screen TVs with friends. Food fun and drinks all is good!
You will wait at least an hour for food. Good local sports bar.
