Food is really good. Finding a table was difficult but that is understandable. Pickup for order is slow and can be confusing. Also, wait time was about 20 mins to get our order and it wasn’t complete when we got it. But, the food is good and the sauces are great. Would I go again? Maybe on non-peak hours.
We frequently get take out and love the food. Best unsweetened iced tea anywhere! The BBQ chicken is great. I can't resist the corn pudding. My husband has to have the ribs.Plus the few times we have had a problem with an order they have more than made up for it.
The photo says it all. The brisket has beautiful bark, it is tender, and full of flavor. No sauce needed.The guy at the drive thru had a great attitude.You would be hard pressed to find a bbq chain this consistently delicious.
Went with a friend! We both enjoyed the food. The spicy and sweet BBQ sauces available are my favorite. I also appreciate the bottled soda selection available. The blues music playing at night really makes the atmosphere fun too!
I ordered online for pickup. I got the ribs by the bone it was rib Tuesday. Those ribs had no flavor no seasoning and were very very very dry. I was very disappointed. A friend told me that the City Barbeque at other locations is better but I don't think I'm going to try it. I don't even think they deserve one star.
Had the brisket and pulled chicken with corn pudding and bread pudding for dessert.Food came out crazy fast, but the despite that, tasted great. This coming from a southeast Texas boy.Flavors were all there and couldn't have been happier. I was quite surprised how good the corn pudding was. First time ever having that and definitely now something I have to implement into my BBQ.Bread pudding was really sweet and I might go for the chocolate cake next time given the price.I'd definitely come back. Staff was great and certainly worth the price.

“Wow! That’s some really good bbq”, we’re the words that slipped out of my mouth after the first bite at City Barbecue. The food was tremendous, well smoked, tender, some would say moist, but I know that’s a trigger word for some so I won’t say the meat was moist. A coworker of mine insisted I try the cornbread pudding and it was an excellent recommendation. The food was great, the atmosphere was a standard comfy bbq experience, and it was an excellent choice for linch! I can now see why it was so heavily recommended by my coworkers who used to live here! Oh boy, now for a nap! Well done City Barbecue!!!!
Edible. Otherwise not worth your time. Wow. Disappointed. First off, I just wanted a pork plate with sides, simple, normal, but it wasn't on the menu. So I ask, she says yes they can do that for anything listed on the sandwich list. Ok. So then it turns out I was charged for a sandwich but I clearly didn't get a lot of meat and I also didn't get bread, nor any cornbread in trade. Seriously? I always get cornbread at the city bbq in Atlanta. And then the taste of the meat really isn't good at all, very bland and boring. Next the macaroni is also super bland. I just don't get it, no interesting flavor at all. This is just poor quality, they can be so much better than this, I'm just dumbfounded that one of the better bbq places around me is so bad here. Oh well. I'll remember not to come back. So sad.
We are in town for Funeral it has been hard. Having to argue with the hotel etc…This was our first time eating here. We ordered the City Sampler, we had an issue called spoke to Devon and he was amazing!!’ The customer service was outstanding!!! And the food lawwwd was good!!
