We got together after 50 years to celebrate a girls High Tea This is definitely the place to find a great time. The food was delicious - sandwiches, desserts and the best scones ever (some with currants and some without). The etagere was beautifully presented and the tea in the cozy was delicious. The ambiance was fabulous. The vintage tea cups were each different and beautiful!
Such a cute little cafe with legit tea selections. Owners are British and really nice. It's small and cozy. My mom highly recommends the scones (served with clotted cream and jam, though I saw they also have lemon curd!). One of my favorite places to go when I'm in the DYT.Heads up it is CASH ONLY.
ordered the carmel latte, it was absolutely delicious. got the potato-leek soup 1000/10. friend ordered the hot chocolate and tart, she loved it. over all 10/10 recomend. love the atmosphere. so welcoming.
One of the best and cutest cafes in Dayton area. Busy, casual and most importantly great food. Loved the sandwiche and scones. Will revisit to try more !!
Lovely British tea salon. Packed on the week-end, but you can leave your number and they'll call you when a table is free. No credit cards. Good selection of teas, great way to serve them, and super friendly. I can see why they've been doing this for 20+ years: they love it, and they're good at it!
This place is wonderful. Great tea and coffee. Delicious scones, sandwiches and dessert. And wonderful owners and staff. A favorite!
Central Perc is such a cozy cafe, as soon as I walked in I felt nostalgic. It has a lovely "home-like" feeling and is very easy to sit and relax in. The service is excellent, the people are so warm and friendly and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, I had the sausage roll and home made scones with jam and cream (the Devonshire way ;)). The scones are the best I have ever had and the jam is deliciously sweet. I highly recommend this cafe, the perfect place for a spot of afternoon tea, breakfast or lunch. I will definitely be returning.
I can't believe I waited so long to try Central Perc! I've been missing out on their delicious homemade scones served with cream and jam and pots of tea. My tea was served in a beautiful ceramic pot w/cozy and a china cup w/saucer. Their deserts look SO good but I'll be headed back for those. And soon. Their list of teas goes on forever and they also serve coffee.
I've been searching for a place to have afternoon tea for ages. My daughter and I had a very enjoyable tea. We will definitely be going back.
Wonderful coffee shop with a hometown feel. Mike and Rosie always make customers feel welcome, and have never failed to serve up a hot cup of coffee or delicious baked treat. Have a cup in their cute European shop, or sit out on the sidewalk under the umbrella. Either way is better than Starbucks! Afternoon tea special is a must! Cash or check only.
