I was super excited to try the Butter Cafe with it's attractive menu options. We were seated immediately but, not offered drinks for approximately 30 min or longer. They were very short staffed so we were understanding. They didn't even bring out silverware until after we asked for it and food was already served. The mean green omelet I had was delicious but the home fries were drenched in salt so much that I could barely eat more than 3 bites. My daughter ordered the jelly filled pancakes, which looked delicious but, she also only ate 3 bites. I thought that was because she wasn't hungry so I took it to go for her to eat later. Turns out she didn't eat them because the underside was completely black! They should have never served this. See pic. Also, I didn't see any prices for the drinks on the menu but $6 for a tiny lemonade is outrageous. I wouldn't have ordered that if I had known it was that much!

Just left the Butter Cafe. I was so disappointed in this restaurant. We were seated fairly quickly and received our drinks pretty quickly too. The waitress was nice, but you could tell she was starting to get slightly stressed. Unfortunately that was the only thing that I can say positive about this place. It took over 45 minutes to get our food. I had 2 pancakes, and my hubby had the country breakfast. The pancakes had a weird aftertaste, almost like something was spoiled.I definitely did my best to eat them, but I could only eat half before I finally said enough. What was worse, though, were the people waiting. I watched this family come in, told by the hostess there was a twenty minute wait. They went outside, and we watched their sweet little girl’s antics through the window. After they had been waiting 20 minutes, I watched a group of four come in. They told the hostess there were four of them, and they bypassed the family that had been waiting outside. I felt so bad for them, considering the older gentleman was on oxygen and his wife had no choice but to stand while they waited. It took a little bit to get the attention of the waitress because she was somewhat busy, but I was able to get her to bring over the check. We paid and left. On my way out, I made sure to tell the family they were bypassed.

This place seemed like it was going to be a local hidden gem, and the line of people waiting outside seemed to confirm it. But the service, while friendly and attentive at the table, was slow, and required multiple trips to get everything ordered just right. The food was honestly not very good at all. Everything reads as super appealing on the menu but it was bland and verging on a struggle to even get through. I suspect this was once known as a great local place to visit, but things may have fallen off from that

Butter Cafe. Well, the bloody Mary’s and staff were amazing. My husband had the steak and eggs and I had the French omelette with goat cheese. We shared pancakes. The steak was cooked perfectly too bad it was a low grade meat that tasted as well as the awful waffle. The omelette had very good goat cheese and no shortage but the “caramelized onion” was far from caramelized. The pancakes griddle cooked and stick to your ribs delish.

I’m not one to bash a local restaurant but feel people need an honest review. Extremely disappointed with my first and only visit to Butter Cafe. Liked the laid back atmosphere but facilities looked dirty. Food came out in a reasonable time but was far from enjoyable. I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs over medium (they were hard as a rock) bacon (best part of the meal) and breakfast potatoes ( they tasted like they were fried in some sort of fishy oil). Side of biscuits and gravy ( maybe had one tablespoon of gravy on the biscuits) . I could not eat my meal. To top it off we were auto charged a 25% gratuity for a table of six on three checks. There was no way to verify everything unless you scoured their mobile check device. The server when questioned, said we should have read the fine print on the menu? My daughter tipped extra on the bill over and above the auto gratuity and couldn’t get it refunded.Too bad that they are out to get over on their customers instead of trying to satisfy them. If you go here, good luck! I see them out of business soon.

This is a popular place for breakfasts and lunch. I guess it depends on what you order. The banana nut pancakes that my wife had were quite good, although came with corn based syrup, rather than maple. I had the huevos rancheros, and have never had anything quite that bad in my life. Tortilla was fried until I needed a chainsaw to cut it. Beans were a dry mass, almost dust. Eggs were overfried in an omelet fashion with apparently some cheese in there someplace. And the salsa was a chopped tomato with a few shreds of cilantro. We were hungry and didn't have a lot of time, since we were starting a long trip, so I didn't mention anything at that time. The place seems clean and has a good vibe, so order wisely.

Me & my friend visited this place Dec. 17, 2021 around lunch time. First time visit for both of us. It was crowded to say the least but it didn't take long to get a table. They have an upstairs for additional seating....just a few steps. Nicely decorated for the holidays & the staff was friendly. I got a bacon avocado burger sans buns with chips and my friend got a classic club sandwhich with potatos. Their house made mayo is DELICIOUS! Restroom is downstairs and we had a delightful time. Even when I had a worker looking for my eye glasses that I clearly forgot was ON MY FACE!!!?? Good times!

Three stars and I'll tell you why:Pros: inclusive menu and the vegan food was a hit with my boyfriend, delicious potatoes, decent prices. My waitress in particular (long black hair that was tied back) was friendly and attentive about her service. The drinks all around were delicious (lemonade and coffee). Good hours for a breakfast type place.Cons: it really threw me off that the staff dress code seems to be sweat pants. This one girl had her black and pink hair so thrown about I was certain it had to have gotten in someone's food at some point. The dress code just isn't professional in the slightest. Tables were sticky. The food took much longer to come out than it should have. Finally, while our waitress was great. I saw three of their staff members just aimlessly walking around and fumbling with dishes. It seems to me that with a little more training or direction they could have helped mitigate the long wait time for food or the sticky tables.

Very delicious! Such yummiest! Mouth watering food! Service is amazing!

Really yummy. My girlfriend loves it bc there are vegan options.
