We sat down and after we were ignored for more than 20 minutes we left. Wonât be back.
Excellent service from Antoine. We had a large group and he was amazing.
They were out of bread, they have also discontinued the seeded flatbread that we used to enjoy. The waitress said that it always made a mess to clean up. The lasagna was sort of mushy. We requested an outside table but the faint smell of sewer was unappetizing. Iâm not sure weâll return.
Had a large family dinner here (around 20 people) that had been reserved ahead of time. Had no issues getting seated and we had a dedicated waiter for our tables. Service was great, food was warm and delicious and overall had a good time. There was an issue with some of our appetizers not being prepped well (especially the calamari) but thankfully the kitchen manager understood, took it off the bill and even mentioned that he would probably just scratch it from the menu for the evening because there had been several complaints.
Our evening started out great. We were able to get a reservation for Friday night and were seated within 5 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Unfortunately, things went downhill pretty quickly. We all ordered water to start off, while we looked at the menu. It took over 10 minutes to get the water, so we decided to order drinks and dinner at the same time. The waitress took our orders about 20 minutes after we arrived, and said she would be right back with drinks and some hot bread. The drinks took over 15 more minutes to arrive (with one small loaf of bread for 6 people). We divided the bread among 4 of our party of 6 and asked for another loaf--another 10+ minute wait, only for the waitress to tell us the restaurant was out of bread. After 30+ minutes from the time we ordered our food, the waitress and a manager both stopped by to tell us they were sorry our food was taking so long. Water glasses were empty but not refilled. At the 40 minute mark after ordering, we received our dinner salads. At the 1 hr 30 minute after ordering mark we finally received our meals. The manager stopped by again to say she was sorry for the delays and offered free desserts as compensation (very nice gesture). We finished our meals at about the 2 hour mark and asked for coffee and some take home boxes. The coffee came at the 2 + 20 minute mark after ordering our food; it was only luke warm. We asked for our bill and reminded our waitress about the boxes. Our dirty dishes were still sitting on our table so we took it upon ourselves to clear our table so we wouldn't have to talk/wait with a bunch of dirty dishes. At the 3+15 mark we finally paid our bill and were ready to leave. All told, we were at the Brio for 3 hours 35 minutes. About 2 hours 30 minutes of that was idle wait time. There was one positive note to the evening; the food was pretty good. It just wasn't good enough to justify the ridiculous wait times. We did get the free dessert promised by the manager, but we took most of it to go, and it certainly did NOT make up for the excessive wait times and overall incompetence of the serving staff.
Had been a long week was looking forward to going out. Mistake. Made a reservation had to wait. Was seated wait again. Server less than attentive. My daughter later spots her in the restroom on her phone. Salads came after the meal, and the food was only warm at best. We were given iced tea that looked like sludge, and she even acknowledged that it didnât look right! Then why would she even bring it to the table! We have given the many chances and we will never be back!
Waited 30 minutes to be seated. Soup and salad arrived at same time as entrees. Lasagna was overcooked, crusty and more cheese than pasta and meat. Chicken Marsala arrived with maybe four or five mushrooms and fries were substituted for mashed potatoes without consultation. Service was dreadful and billpaying a mess. Drinks, at least, arrived without incidence.
We came to celebrate Fatherâs Day. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come to our table after being seated. Two kids meals were brought out well after the rest of the meals. It took too long to get a to-go container that we needed so we simply left without one.
We had happy hour and an early dinner on the patio. The weather was nice. I had a pizza appetizer and lasagna for dinner. The food was very good but had cooled somewhat by the time it was served. Our server was nice but not really attentive or our party (4 people). The happy hour food is good and the pricing is a good deal. We had a good time and will probably return again for happy hour.
Service was great and the food was amazing. It was a bit too loud where they sat us by this group, bit other than that.. great.
