Bob Evans has been a long held standard in Ohio for home cooked style meals. Even after the company was sold some years ago this has held true. The rustic barn looking restaurants that can be spotted along highways and freeways around the state are always a good bet for a homey meal and freindly staff. They offer homestead breakfasts as well as lunch and dinner meals that are budget friendly and are served with a friendly smile. The people there are always happy to share the history of the company with those who ask. The store at this location is particularly a good one to visit, and the staff reflects the heritage of this company. If you are visiting and want a friendly meal accompanied by warmth of new friends, it is a must. Something to try and take home: Colonial dressing. it is indulgent.
If you have been anywhere near Ohio, then you have probably stopped at a Bob Evans at some point or another. This one is par for the course for a Bob Evans experience. There was about a 10 minute wait to be seated and a 30 minute wait for food, but you could tell they were short staffed and doing what they could. The food was pretty good, staff was friendly. As we were leaving there were some grumbly older folks who were bristly about the wait time, but I can't fault the restaurant for that. Solid place to grab a meal around Miller Ave in Dayton.
Came in on Mother’s Day with a party of 7. Told we couldn’t be sat all together but seen another large party sat together as we were eating. Waited forever to receive food although they had to be the least busiest restaurant on miller lane. The food was ok. Barely hot but tasted ok.Another server smiled at and told me my kids were cute then whispered to the host not to give her our party (thinking I didn’t hear her). There were also guests at this location that made me feel uncomfortable having a biracial child with stares and side eyes.Service was excellent though! Derrick Wilson kept a smile on his face throughout all the mess going on in the back of the house. He also accommodated all our needs to the best of his capabilities.Won’t be returning.

I used to love Bob Evan's and I can't speak for ever location but this one is horrible!! Everytime I order they never get it right always missing something and cold. Definitely would not recommend, I will not be going back!!
I don't know why this restaurant was open. I don't think they were filling ANY orders correctly. There were people waiting quite a long time for their pickup orders. Evening of 2/26/22.There was one waitress during dinner rush (I felt horrible for her). There was one manager. Those are all the people that were out in the lobby area. The manager was complaining extremely loudly, saying how she was going home & never coming back, talking bad about the kitchen staff, saying something about how she couldn't see the tickets and how everything was so horrible... As a customer, I shouldn't be hearing this.The burger we ordered was overcooked. Broccoli was still frozen, fish was not cooked evenly through, macaroni and cheese was separated and not hot enough to serve. We sent one of the plates back and didn't ask for anything else. The table next to us just left after they got their food.This location should be closed until they can pay staff decent wages so they can actually have a full staff.
Great service. Unfortunately there having staffing issues. I never blame a server for the problems with management
Waiter was nice. Food was horrible,came to the table barely warm. Biscuits that were just coming out of the oven were barely warm. Never go back to the location.
Friendly staff and fast service . Did have to wait to be seated but was on weekend . Food was good and hot and liked the variety of side items available !
I'm highly disappointed with the service today. There was plenty of help running around doing their job but it seems they need 2 cooks. The wait time was 25 minutes while 2 orders went out before ours. Then in top of that they forgot the biscuits along with only giving me a cup of sausage gravy when I paid for the bowl. Highly disappointed ☹️
