The live music brought us in and we ordered food and drinks.Overall, the most OKAY bar experience. It's all about the music and setting. Lots of drinks, but don't expect much from the food.Would come back again on a full stomach.
After ditching another local brewery for a couple disappointing, I decided to try this place. Since I walked here, I can't comment on parking but it appeared to be street parking only. There's both inside and outside seating. I sat at the bar and ordered up some deep fried mushrooms and a beer. The mushrooms were pretty good and so was the beer. I know there was at least one TV monitor inside, but there might have been more. This felt like a locals hangout. However, chatting up others at the bar...I felt very welcomed. The staff were nice too. I'd definitely like to come back here again.
Was good. Love the atmosphere in there! The menu is sandwiches, burgers....but 'Different' from the norm! Pickle soup, gyros, burgers, onion chips!
Full disclosure: I go to Blind Bob's for the pickles. They serve both Bourbon fried pickle spears and the most fantastic pickle soup, which is hard to describe! Imagine a creamy, garlicky and dilly potato soup with chunks of both pickles and potatoes. It's light and extremely satisfying, truly the ultimate comfort food.I may be a pickle fanatic, but since they're not for everyone, let's talk about some other options. I've also very much enjoyed the fried portobello mushrooms (super thick and crunchy!) usually along with a house salad, which comes topped with red onion, bacon, apples, and goat cheese, among other things.Blind Bob's brunch menu is also really solid, but sadly they don't have a great a web presence and it's impossible to find at the moment. So alas, all I can tell you is that they do really fantastic things to tater tots.Hands down, the food at Blind Bob's is definitely worth going out of your way for. But the reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that you're also going to have to put up with some occasional shenanigans to get to it. When my husband and I went for brunch yesterday, for example, it took 20 minutes for our waitress to bring us water and then another 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I don't know what the hold up was, but when my husband asked we were rather snippily told that "Food takes time to prepare" and handed a few packs of saltines. Like, they didn't even apologize for the wait, and in the end we were late for our afternoon engagement with friends. So when you come here, it's perhaps best to think of lunch as your primary destination for the day.
Nice comfortable bar. Interesting food menu with a few unique items including pickle soup and deep fried pineapple rings. Huge selection of beer. Live music. Great location.
I was impressed with my experience here. The server was very good and friendly. The music was at just the right volume to be enjoyable. The burgers were perfect. We got them exactly how we wanted. They tasted very good and were a great size.
My fiancee and I just went here for lunch and it was so delicious. I got the chicken tenders and they were as big as my hand and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend if your looking for fair priced amazing bar food.
Great place, good food and service. Nice place to see live music too
This long time bar in the Oregon District is small but friendly. Most weekends there is live music. The Sunday night-early- that I was there, manty families were present. I had a hamburger which was large and juicy and very inexpensive. It came with chili also!
Blind Bob's is insane in every way. The food is phenomenal. The portion sizes are big, it's always fresh, and the creations are unique. We love going on Saturday afternoon for a chill atmosphere but at night it becomes the place to be with great energy. Staff is awesome and we love everything about being here. 10/10, highly recommend.
