I am thoroughly disgusted with this place.My bill was a major overcharge for the drinks. Never explained one drink costs us 15,00 dollars. ? Are you kidding me! The food the food was terrible. I actually gave my food to the person that we were with to take home.Anyway, the bartender was rude. Said we don't have a key for a double. Told us never to come back. This drink charge was completely unexpected. When you can go down the street to Sliders and get a drink for 6 bucks.And the word will get out about your over- price for a drink. . So you are closing and unemployed and should be!! We were told to never come back. Don't worry we would not step foot in that place again. The word will get out! ?
Food was par. Drinks were over charged without notice 15.00 for a double Woodford! A bottle of woodford is 49.00, just down the street at sliders it's only 8.00 the only person there with anything to say was a bartender without any customer service skill's at all !! So 30.00 buck's for two drinks!!!! Challenge the charge at my bank!!! Will not ever go back at all ! And the bartender told us to never come back, and that is what i will do. Never go back. Because they are going out of business and they deserve to close and we are going to help with that end... All four of us!! And just because they are up for sale and unlikely to get a buyer soon enough for the present owner, so they are over charging on select items and down on the quality of original items like cabbage rolls from the real recipe which i know the person from where it came many years ago!!! You don't come down on your customers!!! You stay professional regardless the problem!!!. Save your cash and go to sliders!!! And by the way ..the onion dip is lipton mix with sour cream. Nothing like the original!!!
Dependably good food. Great bar/restaurant. Cabbage rolls are a specialty. Reubens are good, as is chili, onion straws and just about everything else we've ever had. Have to remember to come back more often. Our server Ann was exceptionally pleasant.
Food is exceptional!! Big portions and always hot. I love this place, especially their quesadilla. Excellent alcohol beverages and friendly service
Went there yesterday to eat and was watching them make my food that was sitting there for at least five mins and the bar tender had the nerve to pick fry's off my basket and eat them and the girl they had working there idk if he was slow or on drugs I think she was a little special
Great tavern atmosphere, older building with nice firefighters decor and character. The food is first class great turkey hotshots and a great Rueben the corned beef is sliced thin and fat and grissle free. Seasoned fries are good with nicely poured drinks to round it out. The bartender is friendly and professional. Service is very good. I recommend.
So about three years ago I first had your cabbage rolls...let me just say they was so good ??? ????? I had to look for you again and ah ha lol I found you...bc I wasn't sure of the exact restaurant I'm new to Dayton..anywho oh ma gawd !!!!! It was delicious ??? ii again yummy cabbage rolls and onion straws....thx you
Went for breakfast and it was wonderful! Food is delicious and prices are very reasonable! Will definitely go again. Try an omelet. They're very filling.
I really enjoy this place. I moved into the neighborhood and immediately was looking for my new “spot”, Angie’s welcomed me very quickly with great customer service and even better food! I bring my friends here frequently and we always have a good time. I will definitely miss this place if I ever leave Dayton.
Had the cabbage roll dinner. 2 nice sized cabbage rolls, mashed potatoes, sliced bread and side of onion straws. Portion was enough for two meals. Cabbage rolls were good, could have used more sauce on them.
