We ordered several pizzas, two Greek salads and some mozzarella sticks. Everything was made perfectly and delicious. Prices seemed fair. The dining area was clean. The staff helpful.
We’d had good experiences in the past but the last several times we’ve ordered from there the quality has been horrible and the workers have been rude. My husband ordered a pizza and went to pick it up and the pizza was so sloppily made and included mushrooms and peppers we didn’t ask for. When we went back in to tell them that it wasn’t what we ordered they were very condescending and rude and gave my husband attitude for voicing their mistake. We will never be ordering from there again. Super disappointing.
Called 8:45pm for an XL half pepperoni half cheese pizza. Was hassled over the phone to be precise about picking my order up in 10-12 minutes because they close at 9:30pm even though their website clearly says 10:00pm. Upon arriving I was given an intense and unpleasant stare down by a gentleman with a ball cap on as if I was trying to steal the pizza rather than pay for it. Unpleasant experience here at Portage location. You’d think they were obligated to pay you to do their job the way this guy was mugging me.
Really good pizza. Crust style is thin, similar to New York-style pizza. This place really hits the spot when I want a satisfyingly greasy pepperoni pie. The choice of mozzarella sticks, Rocky Potatoes (Jojo's), or fried chicken goes perfectly with that type of meal.I will note that one time that I ordered, the pizza was considerably saltier than it ever had been before or since. It still tasted very good, so I wouldn't consider this a problem. Just goes to show that they are making either their dough or their sauce in-house, and seems like someone had a heavy hand with the salt that day (sometime in mid summer '21).Employees at this location have always been very friendly. I enjoy ordering from Rocco's when I am in the mood for a sticks-to-your-ribs meal.
Last Sunday they catered my daughter's birthday party and it was absolutely amazing!! We has Rigatoni and meatballs, Tossed salad and dinner rolls. Our party guests were raving about how delicious the pasta was! I was grateful that I had lots left over. Easy lunches and dinner for the week!! It's been a while since I've tasted sauce close to my grandmother's made from scratch
My pizza smelled very strange. Best comparison would be bad breath. I know that's weird to say but it's true. It grossed me out wondering why. No thanks.

Ordered two large pizzas and they were definitely not large. They claim that they are large but they are definitely medium size! What a ripoff! Wayyyyy overpriced for two medium size pizzas.
⁰I had THREE teenagers, SIX adults and myself to feed. Who was twelve pieces of chicken going to feed?Also asked for Creamy Italian and Ranch Dressing for salads. Got French!
***Update***After submitting this review, I was promptly refunded for this transaction today. I appreciate the response, I just hope that next time this happens to someone the results are quick and done because it’s the right thing to do.———————————————————————Over the Labor Day Holiday I submitted a online order at Rocco’s on Portage Trail. The order went through along with my payment. 30 minutes later I showed up to the location to find it closed for the holiday. At that moment I receive a local call on my phone, when I answered it was Rocco calling to let me know that they couldn’t fulfill my order. He told me that he was sorry for the trouble, and that his IT person had not shut down the online order for Labor Day. I told him no problem and totally understand. He did offer to refund my money. After about a month, no refund so I called his cell and left a message asking if he could follow through. No answer, no call back, and another month later no refund.I won’t be returning to Rocco’s, which stinks because we live close and liked the food.
