Went to Moe's for my Wedding Rehearsal Dinner with my parents and in laws. The food was good, server was great and they didn't visit the table obxnly frequently. There are two sides of the restaurant and we were definitely on the quieter side, which was not the bar side. Dinner is on the expensive side, but very good flavor wise. Def a date night place.
Finally had a chance to visit Moe's we met some friends there to celebrate my wife birthday. We weren't sure what to expect so we dressed up a little just in case. There are 2 sides to the restaurant and they are separated by a large wall with one opening. While the restaurant was not full there was one large group there about the same time we were. They had a fairly small menu but a nice selection of appetizers and entrees. It took quite a while to get any service but when the waitress came we put in a couple of appetizers and drinks for the table. The drinks did arrive after the apps but the bar was a little busier than the restaurant side. We did finish our apps long before we got our meals but we had some trouble getting our server to stop by the table. She must have had more on the bar side as she only did our party of four and a party of 5 beside us. The food was just ok and the service was pretty rough. I have heard good things but what we experienced was pretty sub par. Not sure it's worth the 45 minute drive to try again.
Very small and but relaxed atmosphere. Most of staff are friendly, some act as if they owned the place. Two out of five of the meals were up to par. The salmon was good and my granddaughter's chicken and fries was probably the best meal. As far as drinks go, the Manhattan and the Long Islands are great but if you like Margarita's, then each one will come out different. Maybe they should revamp their prices to meet what is actually served.
I haven't been to Moe's since the pandemic, and I was sorely disappointed. Of course, they had the obligatory sign at the door to be patient with them because they are short-staffed, like everybody else, but the speed of service was not the problem. The prices are bad enough but the portions are terribly small. My wife ordered a Gin&Tonic which came in an 8oz cocktail glass (that's reasonable) but then my daughter's margarita came in a 5oz glass full of ice. We asked the server but she had no idea why and that was that. Then our $35 scallop meals came with 3 medium scallops (not seared quite enough) on top of 4 tablespoons of risotto and three stalks of asparagus. Good food, terrible value.
Amazing food and a wonderful atmosphere, the feeling of the service feels like so personalized.Moe is a queen among her peers and has been in the industry for such a long time that coming up with new things for her is as easy as blinking.The drinks are extremely good too
Quick lunch of appetizers and salad. The house chips were ok. They weren't prepared to order, so they weren't warm as I hoped they would be, but the parmesan peppercorn dip was tasty.The short rib sliders were delicious. Crispy onions on top gave a nice texture, and the braised beef was flavorful.The goat cheese salad had dried cranberries, candied walnuts and a nice fresh vinaigrette.I'll be back soon to work my way around the menu and see what else catches my attention.
This was the best short rib I have ever had!!! Absolutely a must try restaurant!! Great place to take a date or the spouse for a dinner!!
The first time I went I was amazed! It was very delicious, I went for a business meeting. Second time I took my husband to share the experience with. This time was very disappointing. We went the night of Thursday December 30, 2021 and after we were sat, we waited over 20 minutes for a waitress to greet us. When she came she took our order without writing it down for drinks and appetizers (we were a party of 2) and she forgot my drink completely. I had to catch her after 15 more minutes and ask her for it. Our food finally came out and our whole dining experience lasted almost 2 hours and there were empty tables in multiple places with a lot of people working. It just seemed like the staff wasn’t friendly at all, no one would make eye contact even. Everyone seemed to be running on a robot mode. The food was a 2 star at best. My husband ordered the scallops and he got 3.We’ve considered going back for a 3rd try sometime to maybe get this review back to what it could have been the first time. Sad because it is a nice restaurant in a beautiful location.
This place always hits it with the food and drinks. The bartenders work with you and are very friendly. When I say the food hits it hits. I would not recommend the crab cakes but the brie is amazing. I have tried all of there appetizers and salads and all are good to exceptional.
Moe’s is always wonderful! But honestly… they consistently knock it out of the park!!! Tonight was no exception… my husbands rack of lamb and my ribeye were superb! Ty Moe for always providing a fabulous meal and atmosphere!
