First time trying this breakfast spot. Not a lot of options for a vegan/GF diet BUT the avocado toast & potatoes were tasty. The coffee was fresh and hot. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Probably won’t be my first choice for breakfast next time but overall not a bad experience.

Friendly and helpful staff. My breakfast was great. My husband ordered the same thing two times in a row. I had the omelet and my husband the the eggs benedict with smoked salmon.

Advice for anyone doing an online pickup order. Adjust your time at least 15 minutes before you want to pickup your food. They do not value your time here. In January it took 22 minutes past the scheduled pickup time to get my online order and I thought it was a fluke. Today, one month later it took 18 minutes past my scheduled pickup time to get my online order. Food was good but I do not like being crammed inside around so many people waiting and waiting.
Put our names on the list and waited 45 min, sat down and ordered food immediately and waited FIFTY MINUTES for food. 2 of us had to leave so asked for our food to go and cashed out before then, and still waited for food, finally came out as we were leaving and our friend had to run it out to us as we very nearly had to walk out without food that WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR. I newsstand that restaurants are short staffed but is the point if the wait for seating not to ensure everyone still gets their food in a timely manner? Never coming back here

My app order was accidentally sent to the wrong First Watch location, but all of the employees at Portage Crossing were so helpful, kind, and accommodating, even making my meal right on the spot. Thank you for being kind, especially during a time when there is so much negativity out there! I appreciated this customer service so very much and will absolutely be returning to this location in the future.
