East of Chicago has been one of my favorite pizza places since the early 90's. Having just moved to the falls, I was happy to see there was an EOC here. This location is just as good as any I've been to. I know they're famous for their pan crust, but I actually think the thin crust, not the crispy one, but the hand tossed thin is my favorite. The website is a little wonky, but it gets the job done. The delivery guy was all about business, but nice enough. Will always be one of my go-to pizza places.
Put my address in on the website, get called and said don't deliver to my address. Yet ordered from the SAME location using the SAME address last week and had no issues. Order from your location as the one on Market in Akron doesn't offer the PB&J pizza, and you have better coupons in your location. Let's see if my refund gets processed in a timely manner....
Attempted to order delivery at 6:40p and was told an hour and 15 minutes. Called back about 8:10pm (gave an extra 15 minutes before checking on order) and was told by Matt that we were told it would be an hour to an hour and 15 min. When we mentioned that it was already past that time which is why we were checking on it he said "well it will be another 20 minutes or so because we have half the city to deliver to!" Why be rude? Why not offer people to pick it up instead if it is going to take a long time? Why not call people before they call you and mention that the order is going to take longer than expected? Not angry about how long for delivery, angry about how this was handled by Matt and/or this company.
Walked in and ordered the food because they did not answer the phone not one time. Got the food, pizza was cold like it was made 1 hour ago I live literally 10 minutes away. Called like 10 times, nobody answered the phone. When I called back the next day as soon as they opened I was told there was nothing they could do, no store credit, no refund, no nothing. Then I was told maybe if I called back then they could have done something. When I told them to check their call log my number is definitely there over 10 times in a row was told again nothing they could do. Had to call corporate on them, what kind of service is this? You screw up someone’s order and tell them there’s nothing you can do? The food was so cold I was concerned it may have not been cooked enough and possibly could get food poisoning. BTW was told the real manager is on “Vacation” and I can’t talk to him right now. Disgusting service, will NEVER be back so sick and tired of wasting hard earned money on trash service and products.
Used to be great but ordered a Tower tonight that was terrible. Asked for no mushrooms but got mushrooms.A tower used to be loaded but this was very skimpy. Could find any black olives,no ham, peppers and onions limited. Won't be back.
I went and ordered a large deluxe pizza and was told it was going to cost me $19.99 and I paid using my debit card. The receipt they gave me also said $19.99. but when I checked my debit card when I got home I was charged $24
Ordered 2 medium pizzas and garlic bread . Over 2 hours to get delivered after initially being told 30 minutes . The second time I called to check on my order the guy who answered the phone hung up on me . None of the staff I spoke with seemed to care . When I asked to come pick it up I was told the driver just left and would be here in 3 minutes and finally showed up 25 minutes later. When my order finally got here , it was WRONG and COLD .I Will NEVER order again !!

I love the taco pizza and cheesy garlic bread. Domino's taco pizza is a sad joke. East of Chicago has the best.
I love this place !!! SO YUMMY they 100 percent know what they are doing an great customer service the young lady I was talking to on the phone I think her name is Bri She was so nice and helpful and took my order right and fast everything about this pizza place is great they derserve 5 stars thanks again
