First time having Athena’s tonight, absolute pizza connoisseur (So I’d like to think)….some of if not *the* most scrumptious pizza I’ve ever had! So much so, I had to call and let them know. Spoke with one of the owners, he was absolutely a doll, and so nice! Should also be noted I have never ever left a food review (nor called a place to compliment on the food)…this should speak volumes. Perfection!????♀️?
This place has the best pizza and fried chicken in the area, hands-down. Customer service is excellent, this is a real mom and pop pizza joint and you can tell they care about the food they make. I will be back.
Do NOT let old reviews or old ratings or even past experiences take you away from here! The new owners Ally and Jason are great people and they go out of their way to make sure you get hot, fresh, and delicious food. They let my son choose his own pizza (chicken parm!) and they always make sure that my older son (autistic) has whatever toppings on his subs or chicken tenders he likes! You cant go wrong with any choice on the menu, everything is done well and the chicken is always fresh not frozen, always juicy and delicious, try it with the mild buffalo sauce.... YUM!
Recently moved to the area and have been checking out a few of the local pizza shops (my husband is picky about his pizza but it’s his favorite food) and being so close to Athena’s and hearing they got new owners we decided to try it out-IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! My husband loved it! The sauce isn’t too spicy or sweet-loaded with toppings and crust isn’t super thick or doughy! I got the Gyro salad which was fantastic! (Thanks for the extra dressing ?) We will definitely be back (a lot!)
While traveling for the weekend, I gave them a try. Ordered a couple of pizzas and a sub. The owners were very pleasant and spent a few moments chatting with me as they were wrapping up for the evening as I was the last order of the day. I was offered a few additional samples to go with me and I will say that I am not disappointed in anything that have eaten . The chicken was delicious and perfectly prepared, the jojos were seasoned just as they should be, the pizza was very tasty and the sub was spot on and has become my new favorite sub. ( the bread makes all the difference and they apparently know this). Athena's will definitely be a repeat stop when I am back in the area. I look forward to discovering some of the new menu items that you are working on. The passion for food and service was definitely evident in my experience, BRAVO...
I get at least two gyro's per week at Athena's with everything and extra onions. The service is quick, friendly, professional, and I always get a great gyro. Clearly, I need to branch out and try some different menu items, because if the other menu items are as delicious as the gyros, I can't go wrong!! Get to Athena's as soon as you can!!! ; - )Brian J

We visited Athena’s last week for the first time since the new owners took over in November. They accommodated our “walk-in” special order (different toppings on two sides of a half-sheet pizza) and I totally enjoyed our conversation as the pizza baked. Thank you!
We just got Athena’s for the first time tonight. We got a pepperoni pizza, Greek salad and wings. The salad was super fresh and crisp, we all loved the crust of the pizza and my husband enjoyed his wings. Thanks for the yummy dinner!
Over the past couple months, my family has tried Athena's several times and the food is delicious! They have the best Italian subs we've eaten in years, and we highly recommend their philly cheesesteak pizza and fried chicken. Glad for the new ownership ... we love their taste in good ingredients, plus their friendliness is a bonus!
