The food is halal and very delicious. The service is beyond exceptional!! The owner is very very sweet. He stayed open late for us during Ramadan. One time he even delivered food to our home 20 mins away from the restaurant. This family friendly restaurant is a must try!!! You will miss out if you don’t try Yemeni restaurant in Columbus.
Authentic Halal, Mediterranean food portions could be enough for at least two people. Ordered take out on a Sunday afternoon a few of the options on the menu were not available. Advised if you are calling in your order to have more than one option. Otherwise this place will surely give you flavor, freshness that will have you going back for more!
Wondering about all the Google reviews! Some may be known by the restaurant owner! Went to this Yemeni restaurant based on Google reviews, honestly, we're very disappointed . Food quality and the overall environment are below standard. The server took the wrong order and overcharged us. All together not a good experience. First and last visit period. Not recommended!!!
Amazing food with friendly service!
This place was fantastic. I loved everything I ate and so did my friend. We both really loved the hummus and curry soup. The chicken zorbian was very flavorful and the chicken fasa was fantastic. We had the masub banana for dessert, and it was super delicious. We really had a good experience with the food and the staff was super friendly and nice to two Yemeni newbies. Definitely recommend!
Great food and sweet workers! Loved the chicken biryani, it has so much flavor and the meat falls off the bone. Will definitely be back!
One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in recent memory. The server was attentive and helpful in describing the dishes, the owner/operator gave personal attention to each table, ensuring every dish was at a high-standard. My girlfriend has not had many foreign cuisines and is very meat-and-potatoes, but she praised the food and ambiance as some of the best she's encountered as well.If this indicates how good an impression they left, we visited in October and I finally remembered to review (my first review). We would gladly make the 1.5 hour trip to return!
The Lamb Haneeth was amazing, I could eat the lamb with a spoon :) Also, the Yemen tea was a great dessert--very sweet and with lots of spices.
This place has amazing food. The meat is fall-off-the-bone and savory. I've had the lamb haneeth and chicken zorbian and both were fantastic. The hummus is thicker than I'm used to but still awesome. The best part of all is the huge tandoori bread. They are perfectly cooked, chewy and over 18 inches wide. Great for eating with hummus or any dish.Takeout was quick and easy. Just a 10-15 minute wait after calling it in.
Great food and great staff, had a little issue manager got back and took care of it. Will highly recommend!!
