Great waffles and coffee…1/4 mile from the house!
Such a great place to grab breakfast!! Total hidden gem! The They always have friendly staff and are so quick! Plus they always have some fun new waffles and coffee flavors to try out. Highly
I pause to take a moment out of my day in reverence for the sandwich I just consumed. My journey to this sandwich began 12 to 16 months ago when I first tried Winton's chicken and waffles. Skeptical of the chicken and waffles combo, my world was turned upside down when I had to accept the hidden glory of Fried Chicken, Waffles, and Bacon. However, today, I ventured from the safe, warm embrace of the Chicken and Waffles--a 9 out of 10 in my book--to try the "Baron Bacon Sandwich." At first glance, the sandwich looked incredible, adorned with chopped bacon, red onion, lettuce, and a perfectly cooked egg. The first bite and the crunch of the waffle were exquisite. Just when you think the sandwich has peaked, a moment passes, and the sweetness of the waffle shines through like the sun piercing the clouds. Bravo Winston's Coffee & Waffles. Bravo.
Several of my friends have been raving about this food truck that serves waffles. It is not just waffles, although their waffles are absolutely fantastic! Their food is waffle-based but you can get waffles stuffed with sausage or waffles topped with eggs or waffles topped with several other wonderful ingredients! If you are in the area, I highly recommend taking time for this wonderful breakfast truck!
The waffles are amazing. They are some of the best waffles I've ever had. I liked the coffee too but there was far too much mocha and caramel in the cup for my liking.
I love The North Hampton waffle here! The buffalo chicken is perfect with a kick of spice at the end which pairs great with the Winston’s syrup! I can’t wait to get another one soon!
The chicken and waffles isnt good at all… and the baron has sugar clumps in it. The hot chocolate isn’t really mixed enough… and the coffee is average. I wouldn’t spend my money here again honestly.
Placed order online and cooking did not START until I arrived. I was then made to wait another close to 30 minutes after this before my food was finished, at which point I received wrong drinks and one less than I paid for. The food itself is alright, though I'd never crave it, but the coffee is actually very bad.Caramel latte, vanilla cappuccino, caramel cappuccino, and honey-lavender cappuccino all taste about identical and none are very good in their own right.
The vegan/gluten-free waffle is a nice option to have on the menu, but seems poorly paired with toppings. Really, the only option to order without significant modifications is the “Winston” with maple syrup and the butter left out. The vegan/gluten-free waffle itself is a bit sour and chewy, with no discernible sweetness. If you’re looking for a vegan or gluten-free option, this may disappoint.
My friend and I try to come here once each week (which is saying a lot when you have so many options in a city like Columbus). Everyone there has always been kind and accommodating to my dietary restrictions, and the waffle options just taste good! We take friends from out of town each time they visit who also say it’s some of the best waffles they’ve ever had.I’d easily say it’s the best dairy-free waffle I’ve eaten, so if you find yourself looking for some tasty brunch made by some good people, definitely give Winston’s a shot.
