First of all let me say this.. This was my first time coming here. I sat at the bar and had some wine. The environment was nice. The service was nice. But let me tell u about the food we had. We ordered chicken lomein and spring rolls. The spring rolls were good but this lomein was nasstyyyyy... If you like plain food. Have at it.. ? I'm upset because I was referred here and it was highly recommended.. Nope I will recommend for a drink nd maybe an egg roll nd that's it.
I've been coming to Wing's for the better part of 4 decades- for the most part we've always had good food and great service. Something that should be noted is that if you are expecting a high end authentic Asian dining experience you may not want to choose Wing's - in the past decade the taste and quality really hasn't changed all that much (which is fine by me). I don't belive either that some menu items "travel" all that well and carryout may not be the best option when reviewing their menu. I've taken a star for the increased prices and for minor things like the sweet n sour sauce and hot mustard for not being on the table due to the pandemic (not really a huge deal). The wait staff are always friendly and courses usually arrive in a few minutes of placing your order.
First time I have ever tried this place, got the garlic chicken with water chestnuts. It was the lunch special and all I can say is WOW!! Egg rolls were so good as well.. I asked when my order was ready for hot mustard, he said it's in the bag, house hot mustard, he said we don't have packets, I knew right then this is gonna be good, but had no idea that I just found the best Chinese food in Columbus, chicken was white and fresh, very impressed!!!!! Take my word and ignore the bad reviews,just a bunch of Karen's that voted for Joe bidden,?
Warm welcome, super great service but the food isn't fit to feed farm animals. Tasteless, soupy mess. Became nauseous before we got home!Tummy rumbles and the runs the entire next day. There is no way we will ever revisit. Wish we'd read the reviews first. Very disappointed. We will not be returning.
This place is the best!!! I recommend going here 1000% I was so happy with the food and my sever was great.
Some of the best beef steak dinner I’ve ever had. I love their pot stickers, I also think their general Taos and other dishes are very good. Very nice atmosphere on the bar side, great patio, great owners!
This place is for people not ready for real Asian cuisine. Do not eat here if you have 1. Been to an Asian country. 2. Like food. I fall under both categories and am here to tell you that this place does not deserve the 4 star rating. Maybe they paid for it. This place is the worst I have ever eaten anywhere.
This place has been in business forever it seems. They have a loyal following and food and service are great.
How do they not have house duck sauce on the table? What happened to the orange duck sauce they had for 40 some years, and who on earth ever thought it would be a great idea to replace it with some lemon sauce? Never been in a Chinese restaurant that has lemon sauce instead of duck. It's gone downhill, no longer the great restaurant it was in the 70s.
