This is my favorite White Castle. The employees are always very kind and the food is about as good as you would expect from a White Castle. Also they are very fast but somehow manage to always make me happy with their customer relations. Love it here
White Castle recently introduced a new (old) hamburger style, mimicking what they offered in 1921. Apparently this was the day everyone in central Ohio decided to go to White Castle. Lots of cars in front of me. Lots of cars behind me. Although I had ordered online, it took 15 minutes to get the order.Sliders are typically sold in sets of four, but the 1921 hamburgers are sold in twos. You can order any number you want, of course, but two was enough. Probably more than enough. I'm not sure that I'll be hungry at dinner time.Differences:* The 1921 patties are round instead of square, thicker than those in sliders, and have no holes drilled through them.* Instead of pickles and steamed onions, the sandwich has a pickle, caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, and cheese. (The final three are optional and add a few cents to the price.)* The boxes are much larger.* The taste, while good, isn't what I associate with White Castle. Sliders are greasy, oniony and the pickle plays an important supporting role. The 1921 burgers aren't as greasy, it's possible to taste the meat, and the pickle hides behind the lettuce and tomato.But the onion chips? Yeah. Mmmmmm.
First time ever experience at White Castle and then the cashier taking my order kept saying okay hold on please. We sat for nearly 10 minutes then to pull up to window she says sorry , NO BURGERS, WE OUT. RAN OUT.
Not much to say but great!!! My wife and I love the jalapeños cheese hamburgers with no picked and a lot of onion, topped with Mustard and Ketchup, extra steamed, that is important for sure, they must be steamed, no hard buns, or stale. Freshly steamed bun by people who care.
Snacks perfect consistent and the hardly ever mess up. They might forget a marinara every now and again but solid 5 stars. Their store is always clean, they're staff is personable and professional. And your stuff is still hot when you get home!Fyi) i do not partake in 420 this is just a good honest review.
We went through the drive-thru and placed our order, the order was two number 1's, one medium fish nibbler, two cokes with no ice. Then we asked for ketchup, tartar sauce, and cocktail sauce. We also asked for fries with no salt on them, and also to salt and pepper the hamburgers, we were told that they already season the hamburgers. Well when we received our order we checked we did not get the tartar sauce for the fish nibblers the food was cold and we thought that the fries and at least the fish nibblers would be hot because they were a custom order don't know what happened there. And as for the hamburgers they were not seasoned and they were also put in the box like they had a problem boxing food all we could do is laugh because this is what we have been getting from this particular location, most fast food chains has been reduced to bad help and yet they want customers to overlook it. Granted not all restaurants or fast foods are bad, but you might want to skip this one we have gave them opportunity after opportunity to straighten out and it's just getting worse that's why they received 2 Stars. It’s good most times, but there will be times where the food is pretty bad. One night we came here to get food and the cheeseburgers were salty to the point where they were inedible, and the chicken rings were mush… this was more recently.
Im Brazilian and it was my first “White Castle” experience, and I like it, as a fast food was pretty good, especially the onion rings.The French fries was a little bit soggy, but maybe was just bad lucky.The service was really nice ?
The older asian lady at window was absolutely the best WC drive thru experience i have ever had at any drive thru, she was just wonderfully and pleasantly welcoming, i tipped her half of what food cost. ❤
The thing I like about this particular location at the corner of Henderson Road and Kenny Road in Columbus Ohio is the staff. Fast food can be very challenging and often times the person taking your order it's also taking the brunt abuse from overstressed, overworked, in a hurry customers; yet, their cheerful attitude always put a little smile on my face and makes my day a little easier.
