It's what you come to expect from cheap breakfast/lunch spot. No frills decent comfort food. They got grits too. Raisin toast $1 upcharge. Hard working servers during hard times.Cleaner than some other waffle houses. Large carryout business.
I guess 24/7 like a waffle house isn't the saying anymore? Just walked there in 6 degree weather at 7am because I was hoping to get some good waffle house, but when we got there we found the door was locked and people inside acting like we werent even there. There was about 5 different people inside from what I seen in the 5 minutes standing there hoping someone would come unlock the door. Literally none of them even looked at us while we stood at the door. I've been to countless waffle house locations across the country only seen one other one that wasn't opened, completely shutdown with no one inside. The only reason they got a 2 star rating is because I've been to this location once before and the food was cooked good and the waitress was nice. I probably wouldn't have had an issue having to wait a minute to order or anything if they would've just let us in instead of act like we weren't there standing outside in the cold.
Excellent customer service!!! I work for Waffle House in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina 2811 Kings Highway. I was a server and a grill op. Those ladies were excellent they took their time they got orders out and they got it right. I was very impressed. Thumbs up to those two young ladies that were working. I didn't get their names but I was very happy with their service. It was 3rd shift on February 27th 2022.
The cook mos def knew wat he was doing back there. Everything was perfect!!! I think his name was Derrick. The waitress was great too. Thank y'all for the great meal and experience.
Everything is good except they mever answer their phone. It's such a inconvenience when you rely on uber and lyft and don't have your own car. And you can't just order ahead of time
“A Diamond in the Rough”Man I gotta start off by saying this is the absolute cleanest Waffle House I have been too and I travel all over the country by Van. Lol . I walked in bracing my knees in preparation for the greasy slippery floors we all are used too. Me walking a dumb realizing no grease on the floor. I sat down I asked for hot glass of water , only to realize they gave me brand new silverware . She asked me for my drink “ Arnold Palmer “ , she brought it I said “ can I get some lemonade” angrily . She said “ why sir “ it’s already mixed . Excitingly “ mixed , mixed already “ yea this is nice . All in all the grill worked in unity all saying the words together. Like the minions lol. This is the best and cleanest Waffle House . A+ …… It’s just in the projects and got like 74 cameras in the parking a lot and inside . ????
Very nice WH, staff was super friendly. Restaurant was very clean & organized. Will definitely visit again!
Food is good just don't like that you cant call and order...you have to go there and place your order.
My husband works out of state during the week. He came home Wednesday and wanted breakfast dinner. I didn’t feel like cooking came here to get his food ??♀️I get there to get my food the young lady who took my order over the phone messed up my order. That’s fine she kept saying sorry and fixed it. Offered me a drink while I waited. As I was waiting I kept smelling burned bacon. So I checked my husbands food and the bacon was burnt. The cook then goes into he’s been cooking for Waffle House for 24 years and never burned anything. The nice lady checked and agreed it was burned. He then said he was busy doing something and I would have to wait 10 minutes. So the nice lady then cooked my bacon.So overall experience wasn’t too good due to the cook but due to the nice lady it made up for him.. I appreciate her. Him not so much. He’s not a very good cook in my opinionIdk her name but it was the night before thanksgiving. It was only them 2 people working.Here’s a picture of the burned bacon and super dry looking sausage patties attached
