Location, Location, Location. Not only is the hotel itself very nice and clean, but it is also very conveniently located. You can walk to tons of stores, restuarants, concert venues (including Express Live!) and more! Valet staff is fantastic and very careful with the vehicle which is a big plus for me. Will definitely be staying here again.

Restaurant week, chose this over another 2 but it’s a hotel lobby at the end of the day, food was underwhelming, drinks were fine.

They have the most beautiful outdoor fire pit garden where in the evening you can watch fireflies light up the sky and our server at the bar Richart what a delight thank you so much for such a memorable experience. The staff here impeccable customer service I look forward to come back to Columbus Ohio visiting you guys again thank you for the sweet memories

Overall good! convenient for my needs. Close to river for running and walking , a beautiful river trail. easy walk to Columbus art museum which has a fantastic collection of American art and a wonderful gift store. lots of restaurants near the hotel and very convenient to Ohio State campus. All good.

Yes, my expectations were high going into this trip. I planned a nice romantic weekend with my wife in Columbus, OH. This hotel is in a prime downtown location (in the Arena District), and I reserved what I though to be the finest room in the hotel. The Oakhurst Room, on the top (12th) floor, is a one bedroom (King) suite. Be aware that valet parking is $35/night, with no in/out privileges. I just parked in the public parking garage next door, paid each time I went in and out and still got away with around $18/night. The pictures on the website don't really do it justice - the furnishings are dated and have the feel of a conference hotel room, not a luxury hotel. No amenities were included or provided - so no bottles of water, no microwave, no in-room bar. Instead of an exclusive line of beauty products in the bathroom, there were generic commercial-sized pump bottles of unbranded body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Room service for food was not available, despite there being a nice-looking restaurant downstairs. In fact, they barely provided us any room service. They tell you upfront that room service is only available on request. When I called on the second day of my three-day weekend to have my bed and towels refreshed, they promised to send someone up in 20 minutes. We left for the afternoon, but when we returned in the evening it was clear no one had come to service the room. We made our own bed and had someone come and bring us a fresh set of towels. One good thing: I went downstairs to speak directly to the shift supervisor on the second evening. When I expressed how my stay did not meet my expectations, he stated that he would issue me a refund for half of my stay. This brings my rating up to a "Poor" from "Terrible", but be advised I have yet to see any money refunded to my account. Heck, they never even issued a receipt for my stay, on paper or electronically. I spent a good amount of money for a mediocre to poor stay. I should have just stayed at the Hilton down the street.

We went here for the Mother’s Day brunch thinking we would try something new. It was $30 per person charged upfront. It was a laughable experience. They had just 5 simple hot items to choose from consisting of pancakes, French toast, bacon, biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs, as well as an charcuterie board, and an omelet station. For $30 a head I would expect a little higher quality food. And guess what! There was a coffee station that charged $3 a cup for drip coffee. Why charge for drip coffee during a $30 all you can eat buffet. Very poor experience overall and don’t recommend. You will be disappointed.

We arrived early at the hotel and the valet was great. When I asked about Happy Hour in the Short North, he gave suggestions and also mentioned Vine and Forge. The front desk has 3 associates working and all looked up and greeted us. We got into our room early which is always a plus! We were so impressed with the King Corner room as it was very spacious and had a wonderful view. We spend most of our time walking around the city and attended a concert at Nationwide Arena. The location of the Sonesta to the concert venue is so close and very safe outside with ample lighting. When we arrived back at the hotel it was about 1pm and unfortunately didn't have a chance to get and food or beverages. It was busy and the bartender was apologetic because they already had last call. We were excited to get a flat bread pizza, but we till for sure come back and get one next time! We both slept wonderfully and left around 10am the next morning. The staff upon check-out was super friendly and thanked us for staying. When I sent the message from my phone to retrieve my car, it was there in an instant! Valet again top notch and he told us to have a safe drive home. Overall, this hotel was excellent! We had the best time and enjoyed every minute!

I had the house salad with salmon. I forgot to take pictures but it was picture worthy and delicious. The salmon was amazing and seasoned appropriately. I'd recommend this salad, specifically.

The restaurant is in the hotel. The bar and grill was really busy after a concert. Richard was really helpful. He got us an order to go and a couple beverages. I would only return if he is working.

We stayed here for 2 nights because of a soccer tournament. Not sure who decided a soccer team with boys aged 16-18 should stay at a hotel that does not serve breakfast but they did. We had to be out by 7 am for games and granola bars did not cut it. I would have preferred to stay at a hotel that had breakfast for the kids. Anyway, the hotel is old. Yes the rooms have been renovated but who cares. It's old, it has SMALL dirty windows and low ceilings and the rooms are dark. We had to valet the cars (part of the stay apparently) and this was not a good idea when 20 famillies need to leave at the same time from the same team. On Sunday although we "Asked" for our car on the app, it did not come. I had to physically ask an attendant after waiting for 15 min where it was. He kindly ran to get it because it somehow did not register with them and we were not the only family this happened to. No microwave, no alarm clock in the room. Again, not family friendly. The location is nice to walk to restaurants and the boys even walked to the Crew stadium for a game. We would not stay here again, Lastly some of the female employees working on Saturday mid-day should not be dealing with guests. Peace.
