Changed my 5* review as this place is rapidly going downhill. When the food is good, it's really good. I order here often and can't say that it's been good for at least the last 9-12 months. Also, beware ordering delivery from their app. If anything goes wrong with your order, neither the restaurant or doordash assumes liability. In my case, I ordered 6 breakfast wraps and 4 smoothies to be delivered for my kids and the sitter to have breakfast on Christmas Eve while I was out finishing my Christmas shopping. Only the smoothies were delivered, no food. I called the restaurant and they said to contact doordash. Doordash said that since it was through TS app and not actually through DD that they couldn't do anything for me either. I called the restaurant back and explained this, and they said they would investigate and call me back. Long story short, I never received a call back, my kids never got their sandwiches, and I canceled my doordash subscription. I lived in Florida where I was first introduced to Tropical Smoothie and fell in love. I think I'll just save it for a treat when I go back to visit because this is not the same experience or quality as I receive back home. Disappointing because I met the owner when they first opened, and he seemed so passionate about his new business.
Food was good. But my Goodness was the drive thru slow. I sat at the window to get my food for 10 minutes...not total time in the line. That was about 30 minutes. Staffing was not an issue. I could see 6 different employees. Most were standing watching others. Maybe they were in training. So I will give the situation the benefit of the doubt and try it one more time. But If I am waiting 30 minutes for food, there better be a medium rare steak coming off the grill and being served table side.
Never disappointed! I usually have a wrap and smoothie delivered at work and the wraps always come and delicious!
Edit just to note that I did reach out like they told me to in their reply and have never been responded to. Overall not impressed.———So unprofessional. Was still within the restaurant’s operating hours - car in front of me ordered in the drive thru, but I pulled up and received an auto play message telling me the store was closed. Menu and store lights still on, still +10 min before close. One of the laziest things I’ve ever seen at a restaurant.
Never disappointed with this place. Love the hummus wrap and beach bum!
Really yummy smoothies you can add special touches to. Good food too. The dining room has been closed recently, likely due to staffing shortages, but use the app and pickup, or drive thru.
I was absolutely thrilled that they could still make the Tropicolada for me which has pineapple, coconut, and banana in it! It is paradise! They should definitely show it on the menu again!
I really like this place the staff is very nice and pleasant sometimes the right in the Drive-Thru can be a little long but the ending product is always really good
