I ordered a delivery from this location at noon on Saturday 06/25/22 from the app, I was given an approximate delivery time of 12:46 at 1:30 I called and was told it would be here at about 2:30 and it never arrived. It never came! I called their customer service and I requested a refund. I was told that it would be expedited to upper management and I would receive a call… To this date 06/30/22 I have not received a call from management or my refund. I called their customer service again to see when I would get my refund and their agent told me that no action has been taken to give me a refund! Deplorable service! They had no problem taking my money for nothing in return and now it seems they don’t want to give me my money back. I have never been scammed out of my money in such a way! Guarantee I WILL NOT return. Really, they get 0 stars! They should be ashamed!
Usually this place is a 5 star, but my sister and I just went in at 8:40 PM and the sign says it closes at 9 PM, so we thought we were on time. But then the employees looked at each other and were like “sorry we’re closed now”. The doors weren’t locked and they closed 20 minutes earlier than usual. Pretty upset because I usually like the place but teenagers are so lazy sometimes.
First time here. Both smoothies were delicious and the quesadilla we got was so good we went back in for another one. We will definitely be back!
If you're blackDo not go to this Tropical SmoothieI I went in there with my two little girls to give them a nice special treat the girl who made our smoothies had a attitude to make 2 smoothies I was going to tip with cash but put it back in my purse when I saw her attitude I ordered 2 chicken kids quesadillas there was no chicken and when the smoothies were done it was like they were rushing us out without our food. People need to get over them selves everybody's money is good no matter what color they are and they had the nerve to play black music never going back and I want my refund
Absolutely disgusted at how the manager or owner was treating his employees tonight when I went in to pick up an order. Was belittling the two female employees in front of customers to the point one employee was in tears. She was trying to plead with him and he snapped his fingers and walked in the back. A customer in front of me was so appalled she went and gave a big tip to the girl making the smoothie. This was hard to watch and the manager should be ashamed.
Very unhappy with the food. I purchased two food items: one had the wrong sauce, and both seemed to be haphazardly made with very few toppings thrown in. The Apple kale slaw side and jalapeño corn side were filled less than halfway in the to go container. I’ve ordered the same items from another location and have seen what they look like when well made and filled to the top. The smoothies were delicious, which prevents this from being a one star review.EDIT: My smoothie was fine, the other was for my boyfriend, who let me know his was very watered down. Seems to be a recurring trend at this location.
Have been a big fan of Tropical Cafe in the various cities I have lived in over the past years. Came to this location on Lyra again onyesterday.Noticed over past few visits at this location that the smoothies I ordered have tasted a bit watered down. Server dropped my straw on ground and just picked it back up and handed to me. Owner should be present more often. I will go to a different location moving forward as I have enjoyed several menu items.
I ordered two smoothies from this location on Sunday and they were awful. They tasted like water downed, iced smoothies and possibly missing ingredients. In the island green, there were scrapings that were not blended well and had to keep taking them out my mouth. I will never go to this location again. Please compare your smoothies to the ones in wake forest, NC.
I came to the lyra location by my job because I got a gift card because of an review of the Morse location. Now all of a sudden the don't do phone orders and the girl making the wraps dropped something on the floor she was about to proceed wrapping the order until someone said you need to change gloves. Irritated she said I will! I caught it and looked to see what she dropped and if she would proceed . I don't like confortation so Im the other lady step up. And the person on the phone was like we busy can't hear you and hung up
Love their smoothies! Bahama mama is my favorite. Food is pretty tasty as well.
