The absolute best wedding cake! We ordered extra slices and every piece was gone-was even told one guest had 6 slices. The almond cake with raspberry and white chocolate truffle was to die for and I can't wait for our one year anniversary to have some again. You will not be disappointed!

Update:The owner contacted me after I posted this to review and he made sure that he understood what exactly went wrong with my order and offered me a store credit so I give their cake another try. I appreciate the gesture as it's very rare to see business owners who communicate directly with their customers and go out of their way to handle complaints. I'm giving them 5 stars for the excellent customer service and I do believe that what happened to my order was just a one time off. I ordered some cupcakes for an upcoming baby shower and I'm confident they will turn out awesome this time! Thank you!I paid $150 for a 2-tier cale not including the decorations, which I had to provide myself. The cake was nice, design wise but the overall taste was just gross. The kids didn't like it. I didn't like it and the entire bottom layer just went to trash since nobody wants it. The frosting was very very thick and tasted like oil. The cake was thin and you can barely taste it too as the frosting was just too much. Basically it was an overpriced tasteless cake. Do not order from this place or better yet just bake your own at home. I can guarantee you your cake will taste so much better.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, but let me tell you the best part - you won't find better cookies ANYWHERE. Every single one I've tried is incredible. And iced sugar cookies as big as your hand - that do not have the lemony flavor that so many "mass produced" sugar cookies do! (I don't like lemon, so this is a perk for me.) Their shortbread cookies LITERALLY melt in your mouth - that expression never made sense to me for a cookie until I tried this thing. Their cupcakes are also delicious, so I can only imagine their cakes are as well, but I cannot overstate how amazing these cookies are! If you find yourself in the area, you definitely have to stop in for a cookie (or 7). You won't regret it!
My most recent interaction with the Suisse Shop Bakery was disappointing and stressful. In the past I have highly recommended them to everyone, even having had them make our wedding cake, however, I am unsure that I can recommend them going forward. The visual presentation, quality and safety of my daughter's baptism cake was subpar, to put it mildly. After sending pieces of cake home with family and friends, pieces of metal were found in the buttercream. This should NEVER, EVER happen. Luckily, I was able to call everyone quickly and there were no accidents, but I am still a bit anxious about the "what ifs,"and the dangerous outcomes that could have come to fruition. I saved the pieces of metal from the few slices at my home and emailed them to the Suisse Shop Bakery immediately, but had to follow up and wait three days for a telephone call, whereas, it only took a few hours for communication when placing my order. The shop did offer to provide credit or make another cake for me, but I opted for a refund. I received only more questions from the bakery and no answers about how or why this had happened and I was given no explanation. I was told they would have to speak with the woman who had taken my order and decorated the cake. I am writing this review as information for others, so should you place an order, you will ask questions ahead of time, upon pickup, and before serving any family or friends.
My husband and I were very pleased with our cake. It looked beautiful and just like the picture I sent. It tasted amazing. We honestly have zero complaints or issues. As far as I know, everything arrived on time as well. My wedding planner took care of everything on the day of our wedding and I don't believe there was ever an issue with the cake. I also think the cake was of great value for us. Our budget was around $500 for a cake and that's right about what we paid. We had gotten quotes from other bakers for the same cake that came in way higher than what we were willing to pay. I also liked the option of paying in cash to get a free stand rental and the anniversary cake. So, overall we were very happy with everything!
Hands down an amazing choice for the cake for my wedding. Working with Krista who handles their wedding cakes was super easy.Everything from the tasting (pickup due to covid) was easy. All the options of cake were out of this world. They also gave popular suggestions on flavors and fillings that go well together.We ended up choosing a 4 tier Yellow cake with raspberry filling and french buttercream on the outside.I had a vision of flowers and ribbons on the cake so I sent along my inspo photos and Krista was able to nail the execution.Delivery was smooth and the cake looked exquisite. Some of my guests were even asking me if it was fake because it looked so beyond perfect. The attention to detail was flawless.Look no further for your wedding/event cake needs!

We'd been using the Suisse Shop for special occasion cakes for years now and thought it was a complete no brainer to use them for our most special occasion. They offered tastings of several different flavors of both cake and filling and coached us through the entire process to ensure we were incredibly happy. Additionally, they offered dozens of examples of prior cakes to give us a good idea of what we were looking for. The Suisse Shop also offered creative ways to allow us to save money while also having a beautiful cake to share with our guests. It was both beautiful and the reviews were out of the park about the quality. Will definitely continue to use them for special occasions.
