Some friends joined my husband and I for dinner and we had a thoroughly wonderful time!! We all had pizza and they were perfect! The crust was crispy yet slightly chewy, the sausage was cut like pepperoni (how unusual!) and all the toppings were spread equally over the pizza. Light sauce so you could enjoy all the tastes on the pizza without any one of them being overwhelming. Pleasant, attentive and friendly staff - there when you wanted a refill or box to take home the leftovers (we ended up not having any!!), and gone when not needed. Perfect evening. Perfect food.
Should have taken pictures when we first got our pizza and salad! We by chance stopped here on our way to the hotel for a flight back to California! This is by far the best pizza I have had in a very long time. The house dressing was spectacular !!! Our server was so informative and attentive! The best around!!!!!! I highly recommend this place!!!!
This place is a Columbus staple. My husband is gluten intolerant and we get the gluten free thin crust pizza. It is (in my opinion) better than the regular pizza. The regular pizza is great too! The old world pepperonis are crispier and made in Columbus so definitely try them if you like meat! I love getting the snow ball, which is essentially a big meat ball covered in cheese and sauce. Their jalapeño poppers are so good. They use cheddar in the middle. I’ve never craved jalapeño poppers until I had theirs. You can typically expect to wait 20-30 minutes for your order if you call for carry out. You know it’s a good place when the line is always busy! In the carry out area they have a great selection of beers and ciders. I’ve actually tried a couple I haven’t seen in other local stores! All in all, do yourself a favor and try Pizza House it’s great!
We were in the area and searched for the best rated pizza places. The Pizza House had the best reviews and the pizza looked awesome. My wife and I had two CBC IPA's, the Italian fondue, Traditional Sub and a Medium all the way pizza. All for just $44! Everything was incredible including the service! The pizza flavors and crust reminded me of a pizza I had from Vicks in Reynoldsburg as a kid. Highly recommend The Pizza House and can't wait to come back.
I first ate at this restaurant in 1975. Their pizza has never changed. Best pizza in Ohio. The staff was great as well.
Columbus, Ohio has a unique style of pizza. It has a cracker-like crust, lots of pepperoni, a thick layer of cheese, and a dense sauce, and it is cut in squares. This place does the style perfectly. My family has been going here for years. If you haven't had Columbus-style pizza before, this is a perfect place to try it. Get pepperoni and cheese and have it "well done." The staff here is really nice and the environment is very retro and comforting.
I have picked up pizza at this restaurant back home to enjoy several times. Every time, the staff at the carry-out counter were ALWAYS personable, polite, patient, and communicative! I simply love how they care about their customers and the quality of their food!This time, my husband and I both chose calzone. We called ahead to place an order and then drove to pick it up. Every time we called, we were usually told our order would be ready in 20-25 minutes. It took a bit longer this time because it was a Friday late afternoon.One of our calzone's toppings were Old World Pepperoni and Italian Sausage; the other calzone's toppings were Meatball and Mushroom. The price was fairly reasonable! Both calzones were super delicious! PS. I also dined there with friends once. It was a good experience, too! I highly recommend this restaurant.
What can I say? Great pizza, great subs, great staff. I stopped in for the first time for lunch, and wanted to try a little of everything. The lunch special was a small 1-topping pizza with a side salad, so I went old-world pep, and ordered an Italian sub as well. The salad was pretty typical fare, but good. Nice cold lettuce and great ranch dressing. The pizza was amazing, it was GONE in no time flat. The sub was also excellent, but I only had room for half of it as you can well imagine. The staff were awesome. I will be back again. Easily in my top 5 of all Columbus pizza places.
My family has been coming here since before I was born. It is a tradition in our family. By far the best pizza ever! Love the All the Way especially since their sausage is sliced. I also like that we can request take and bake when we travel. Highly recommend you try!
I’ve tried calling this place a couple of weeks and always got a busy signal, so didn’t try until earlier this week. This place is just down the street from my place, so figured we’d try their pizza. I ordered a large pizza. Kind of odd set up, one door for dine in and another door for carry out. I got it to go, pizza was ready and paid. Pizza is cut in squares (I don’t understand the square pizza cuts, but whatever). Pizza had lots of cheese, which was a plus but it would just come off when taking a slice. It was ok, nothing special.
