this place was awesome! my husband wanted to turn around and go get more. 5 stars, sides are outta this world. a must try...Sundays at grandmas in a bag!
Best brisket in Columbus. The Budd Dairy location has been the best one yet!
Very good brisket sandwiches - made even more excellent by their kale slaw inside. Minor issues:- the buns were really oily. Like they were coated with melted butter. Weird! We ate inside too, served on a plate, so it wasn’t like it was the takeout wrapping. Their brisket was juicy and an oily bun isn’t needed.- their special bowls aren’t on the big menu board, so I didn’t even notice them. But now we know, next time I’ll definitely get one of their bowls instead of the sandwich.

So I gave them a one star NOT FOR THE FOOD. 1. we tried to go to the location on Parsons because it's close to home and my husband has been talking about this place for weeks. We finally get a chance to go and BOOM, they are closed at 5pm on a Saturday ?? ok benefit of the doubt I say let's go to the N.High st location cause he looked so sad. We arrive and BOOM, we don't have any chicken or Rib tips???? the two things we wanted most. So needless to say unfortunately we won't be back.
The best, most tender, pulled pork I ever had! At first I thought they went light on the bbq sauce (I ordered just the pulled pork) but because it was so tender you don’t really need bbq sauce. The greens were awesome too. I can’t wait to go back and try more items. Highly recommend this place!
It's my mom's favorite wing spot, we went there but didn't know they closed an hour early for the holidays. We weren't standing outside long but the woman felt bad and gave us a gift card on top of the one we found in our bag for Christmas! Definitely good service
This is the BEST food on the south side! Generous portions, hot/fresh and their customer service is Topnotch.
YUM! I got the sampler because this was was my first time at The PIT. I got rib tips, chicken wings, brisket, candied yams, collard greens, and corn bread. The brisket was so tender and the flavor of everything was so good. I love greens and theirs held up against Ray Ray’s hog pit. The yams were so good. I can’t wait to go again soon.
