Great little place that provides big, bold tastes. The atmosphere was fun and lively but it was the tasty traditional Ethiopian fare that had us spellbound. We got our hands in there and had an amazing meal. Already planning a return visit!!!
Food is fine but they never pick up the phone! I just tried calling 5 times and no answer or a call back. This has happened on several occasions. When they do pick up, they give you a time for when the food will be ready yet every time you still have to stand awkwardly at the bar for >10 min. My wife and I regularly go this restaurant but not anymore. It shouldn’t be this hard to process a takeout order.
Don’t even bother going to this place. The lady who works there has a very bad attitude towards the customers. I requested her to change the soda drink from coke to sprite before I even opened the lid and refused to change it. She gave me an attitude and walked away while I was talking to her. She completely just ignored me, and went on to serve the rest of her Ethiopian customers. If you are not Ethiopian, I recommend you look for other restaurants for an extraordinary Ethiopian food such as Lalibela Restaurant, and it’s just 1 block away, and they serve better food and treat their customers better. I believe she is the manager. She even told us to “not come back” at all. Terrible customer service not worth your money.
I would have given 0 stars; it's an unclean environment. The least they could do is clean the place due to this pandemic. I hope you don't catch Corona on your way out of this garbage restaurant.

Room is really very crowded. the crowd was not acceptable even at normal times. On top of that nobody was wearing masks ?. I was exposed to covid here.
Great atmosphere and food was not bad but wait it very long.
We have eaten here several times. Everything on the menu is authentic and has a wonderful flavor. We are definitely repeat customers. Thank you so much for the welcoming atmosphere

By far this is the best Ethiopian restaurant in Columbus Ohio. Excellent food and hospitality, most importantly clean dining room and bar, not to mention the outdoor space for those who prefer to enjoy food and fresh air.
