I've always gotten a good drink here. This time there were no exceptions. I had fresh milk with wild rice. No regular size option though.

Don’t waste your time here! Go to the TeaZone Bakery right next to Gallo’s instead!!! The owners should really re-evaluate the man who works here as I am seeing TONS of negative reviews about his customer service, and unfortunately he was the biggest reason for my dissatisfactory experience today. It was my first time trying boba tea and I came into Brewed Leaf because it was highly recommended from my friends and coworkers. I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth as soon as I walked in as the male employee working was snappy with me when I asked to order for pickup. He said “well that’s the only option, obviously”. I initially ordered something they happen to not have on the menu, which wasn’t a problem. I asked for another recommendation and the employee serving me couldn't recommend anything to me because he doesn’t want to get blamed if I don’t like it, he said they don’t have fruit flavored milk teas and if he were to make it it would be off menu and I can’t blame them if it doesn’t taste good (my bf ordered a mango milk tea last time so I had no idea why they ”don’t have it as a menu option” this time), and didn’t care to explain the menu to me until I was already confused and embarrassed. That male employee didn’t show good customer service to a first time customer, and I felt like it was being gatekept from boba! I asked about how things tasted before ordering with little to no explanation. I did end up ordering two drinks but only after I swiped my card and he handed me my order did he tell me that rose tea was an acquired taste and I probably won’t like it, and my almond milk tea with strawberry bubbles wouldn’t taste good together. I did enjoy the tea I ordered so that’s why I scored my review as 2/5 stars but was really displeased with being treated like I’m stupid and poor customer service skills. Do better!

Have been here twice, both times the tea was pretty mediocre. This latest time it was pretty gross as it was poorly mixed and sludgy on the bottom. Asked for 30% sweet and it was way sweeter than the last time at the same level. Worker seems disgruntled and serving people a bit of an annoyance. Not going here again.

Was very disappointed in the customer service and the quality of the bubble tea that I received last night. I've been coming and supporting Brewed Leaf throughout the pandemic and even beforehand but the quality of service and drink has really started to go downhill.When I arrived last night, (8/22), I had ordered a regular milk tea drink. The female worker handed me my drink when I noticed that there was NO ice in my drink. When I confronted her about it and asked why my milk tea was luke warm (mind you, it's summer time and hot outside), she proceeded to tell me that there was NO ICE LEFT. Really? You could have clearly told me that before I swiped my credit card and purchased my drink. She could have also told me when she handed me my drink, that they didn't have any ice left, which I would have been fine with, but the two female workers thought I wouldn't notice and tried to be sneaky about it. The worst part was that they didn't even offer to make me another drink or even apologize. She literally yelled across the room when I asked why there was no ice in my drink, "We ran out!" No apology or sorry. Extremely poor customer service and the drink tasted awful.

I want to rate this place lower, but only because of the constant experience of ONE employee. The drinks and business themselves are really good and every other employee at either location has been incredibly helpful and nice.That being said, there's one man employees who acts like my drink requests actually pain him to make. I have a dairy allergy and am vegan. I request almond milk for my milk tea. Whenever he's working and I order ahead, it's wrong. When I confirm upon pickup, he gets extremely defensive and tells me remaking it is "going to take a minute". I won't be taking a drink I can't even consume. I went yesterday only to be interrupted in the middle of my order to be snottily asked, "You know that'll be extra, right?" Like. Yes. I appreciate you telling me, but the attitude wasn't professional. I've ordered here before and am no stranger to dairy-alternative milk being an upcharge, but I would've been fine with the info had it been delivered nicer.Yesterday he was the sole employee I could see. He was getting busy and there were delivery orders waiting. It's stressful and I get that - I've been in retail and that can really stress you out. I just wish he wouldn't have taken his irritation out on his customers. Again, it's every time he's there when I come. Really dampens the experience.

The staff is incredibly kind and their tea and smoothies are amazing!!!

Went here in forever since I moved to Chicago and I was back to visit friends and family for the 4th of July weekend. The owner recognized me which I thought was insane because I haven’t been there in a while. Had a great chat with him. I’ve tried a lot of bubble tea places in my life but this one is my ultimate favorite. I love that I can taste the authentic tea flavor. So so good and will probably be back before I leave. Thank you so much!!!!

The best bubble tea in town! I highly recommend giving it a try. The freshness of the ingredients and friendliness of the service are second-to-none.
