Great market plaza, has cute shops and eateries. Very clean shops and staff. One of my favorite stops in the Columbus area!
I really enjoyed walking through this market! So many unique things to check out and buy. There's a selection of fresh seafood and produce but I found myself fascinated with the prepared meals. I picked up a few to try and they were all awesome. Good selection of sushi rolls and they were all delicious!
Love tensuke market for its fresh sushi and the fact that they cut it up for you in 5 different styles. They also sell fresh made rolls which are pretty good. Sushi 10 is in the back now and part of this store. They have sea urchin in stock, and it was pretty good. Lots of Asian food items, mostly Japanese.
The best sushi I have had in Columbus and at a really fair price!A little confusing on a Saturday when you arrive to the parking lot. I didn't know where to go. The sushi is in the Tensuke market, fresh made moments ago available to just pick up in front of the store, the back of the store you can order Ala Cart if you want something specific.The Tensuke Express is if you want a hot meal for dine in! That is to the left of Tensuke Market!
Absolutely love this market. Great bentos, sushi, and so many options. Just tried this taiyaki with sweet red bean paste. So amazing. 10 out of 10!!
Wonderful Japanese market with all the Japanese staples! Delicious organic fresh fruits, and a wide variety of bento and onigiri ?. Staff were friendly and despite the somewhat long line, we could check out quickly. It is surrounded by other Japanese stores which is so cool! I highly recommend to anyone in the Columbus area.
Tensuke is a wonderful place for everything from sake to sushi! The variety of all sushi is fresh, delicious, and perfectly made. I get the poke sauce cups on the side, extra ginger, and extra soy sauces. I've been going here for about 10 years and it's just perfect every time.

Cannot rate them highly enough. We buy a lot of international food, and Tensuke has great prices for the area. This is the BEST place in Columbus if you're looking for fresh sushi grade fish. Also love stopping in for lunch to grab their fresh Bento boxes or sushi. Sushi is really generously wrapped, fresh, and inexpensive. The earlier in the day the better. We always stop if we are in the area!
The only place to get real Japanese food. Originally they catered to the local Japanese population, particularly job transferees. Now that the local trendy crowd has discovered it, but not manners, the atmosphere is less pleasant. Still fun to talk with the older staff in Japanese if you're a former resident and still real deal food.
