Wait staff was friendly and attentive, that’s about it. Our food came out room temperature at best, but wasn’t bad tasting. By the time we were leaving numerous employees were at a table with a gentleman sitting behind us rolling blunts. Upon leaving we found one exit was padlocked shut, I’m sure that’s not against any fire codes. Overall not sure we’d go back.
Went to TeeJays on Friday, 4:11pm, waited for almost 10 minutes to be told by a server to choose a seat. Waited another 8 minutes before was approached and asked for my drink order and given a menu. This being my first time there, it took me a bit to figure out what I wanted. The menu is fairly limited, unless you only want breakfast. I chose to order a hamburger. I asked how pink I could get it, told the server, who had only been there for 3 days, that I did not want anything past medium, so if they couldn't do that, then I would change my order. I was given a few options for toppings, and had to show the server the options that the menu offered. I asked how much it would cost to add a cup/side of brown gravy for my fries. The answer was $2.10. I ordered my presumably mid-rare burger with fries and brown gravy. What I received was an almost burnt, previously frozen burger that had two slices of the butt end of a tomato. I asked for tomatoes to replace the pathetic excuse for the same, and received diced tomatoes. The gravy I received, was not brown gravy, but country gravy, which slightly improved the burger, especially since I was not offered any condiments, no mustard, no ketchup, no mayo. This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The poor waitress was under trained, the store was not busy at all. TeeJays at Frebis and Parsons. Store #1 I will not go back to be insulted with such bad food and mediocre service.
Everytime I go in it’s always the 2 same girls working and there both awesome! My order is right everytime and there always cool! It’s hard to find good customer service these days and those 2 was beyond awesome!
Just eat breakfast here and it was both pleasant and comfortable. Very nice staff and the food was very good. I give it a high quality check ✔for all around quality.If ever here I recommend it highly.
Not gonna lie. I moved to Columbus from Zanesville so we ordered this for mothers day and its was a HUGE let down! the pancakes were hard, the omelet wasn't an omelet, my portion of eggs and hashbrowns were a kids portion. I am SO disappointed its not funny!
No desserts except for no bake cookies, advertised dessert was not available. Ribeye steaks was trash ask for medium well and it was clearly done well no seasoning the only thing that gave it flavor was the A1 sauce, the salad had browning lettuce not very fresh French fries and the mash potatoes was the best items in our entire order it has definitely changed in the last 6 months.
My dinner was great. Did have to have bacon cooked more. Guest was not so lucky. Omlette missing several ingredients. Allen the waiter was sweet and gracious, but clearly frustrated with all that had to be returned. I still love this place, but the cooks need to read the order slips. I felt badly for Allen :(.
Arrived at TeeJays at 930am. At 945 the server finally came around to get drinks, and we were ready to order. She took our order and by 1040, she came by the table and said"i don't know what happened but I'll find out" at 11 we decided that enough was enough. Went up to the register to pay for our drinks, and was charged full price. How is that, right? The "Manager" on duty, had a huge attitude, and would not listen. She said "I was going to discount your food, but I will not discount your drinks. This is a HUGE disappointment as we love TeeJays. We never did get our food, and everyone else was being seated and getting their meal in a timely fashion. HUGE disappointment.

I've been to this Tee Jay's Country Place twice and the food is great!!! I'm going to go there a couple of times a month from now on. The staff is very friendly, professional and clean. And the location is close to my home.☺️
