Good experience. Food came out faster than it took for me to decide on it! There are good options and the food matches the price. I wasn't a huge fan of the green food colored relish. The flavor was good but was visually unappealing. The staff is super nice and patient but the cashier did cough into their hand then started prepping my order in a bag; pretty off-putting. Potentially will be back again.
Decided to take a chance on Tasty Dawg last night and was not disappointed. My three sons and I each got a different dog and loved them. My chili dog with the pretzel bun was delicious. Among us, we also had three different sides (slaw, Vermont cheddar cheese mac, and tater tots) which were also delicious. Yummy!Side-note: While the dining space is very basic, it was very clean. And so was the restroom.
Amazing service! We came here before seeing a show at the Ohio Theater as it is right across the street. The man who took our order (we are guessing maybe the owner) was very friendly and nice. Food was quick and fresh, so many options of toppings for hot dogs. We had the spicy dog and the South of The Border dog and they were great! I recommend this if you’re looking for a quick bite in Columbus!
Stopped in for a quick bite today for the first time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Offered info and suggestions about the food. Got the Southern dog which was absolutely delicious. The hot dog quality was exceptional and so flavorful. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. Even the fountain Coke was perfect. II'll definitely be back
Amazing food! The mac and cheese alone was delicious not to mention the south of the boarder dawg! First time coming here but certainly won’t be the last! Friendly staff that made us feel welcomed.
Listen this place showed out!!! The food is spot on and so fresh, not to mention the service is great! We had the Chicago Italian beef, Chicago style Dawg and my boyfriend says it tastes just like home! He needed this being homesick recently. Thank you for opening! Hands down the best chili dog ? I’ve ever had. The lady that helped us was very nice and gave us the rundown on the menu. I can’t wait to be back to try another signature dog. They have earned my recommendation to everyone I know.
This was catered to our office for lunch today. Horrible quality food. The shredded cheese for the chili cheese dogs had melted in the tiny Togo cup and reformed into a block and you couldn't use. The Mac N cheese was dry and crusty. It fell out the cup in a hard ball, not the creamy Mac n cheese they advertise. The pretzel bun to the hot dog was stale. The cookies had use by dates of 4/1, that was last Friday. Why serve old cookies? Will not recommend.
