This particular one is nice and fast. Unfortunately steak n shake as a company has lost me. They canceled great burgers like the Royal Burger and things like their Taco salad which gave others options besides your basic burgers you can get anywhere.
This restaurant used to be quiet something special. I loved it. But nowadays they're overpriced and can't even get a basic burger right. There's always food missing or the orders wrong. People pay good money for food guys, step it up.
Excellent service. By the time I ordered it and they swiped my card they were already handing me the bag. On top of that, they didn’t just throw it in they put it in the bag properly. Everything I ordered turned out the way I ordered it and the food was fresh and delicious.My wife ordered a chicken tender 5 piece meal with only fries and I ordered the frisco just the sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger just the sandwich. They couldn’t have done better especially in the amount of time and I’m impressed. Five stars!
We stopped to grab lunch and give our 3 kids a break from the car on our way up to Cleveland. Loved the kiosk ordering, super fast and food came out so quickly and hot hot hot! There was a woman who worked there named Dora who just lit up the room with her smile. She was so attentive and kind, she went out of her way to bring my son over a kids hat and stickers with crayons. She truly brightened our day. We don’t live in Columbus but frequently make trips up, we will be back!
The last 5 years about 10 times we’ve waited in the drive thru line for 20 minutes and then left because it took too long and not moving. THIS TIME at midnight on a Thursday we got our food in about 10 minutes and the order was actually correct. Shocked. Maybe the company is turning around? Will be back
Steak ‘n Shake has essentially made themselves a fast food restaurant in the last two years. Post pandemic dining at Steak ‘n Shake is not nearly as convenient or reminiscent of the 50s diner style that it takes its aesthetic from. The food was good but, I was really upset that I had to order from a kiosk. The whole appeal of going to Steak ‘n Shake instead of McDonald’s is that it’s a sit down restaurant. But it is no longer.
I don't know if there's new owners or what....but tonight was wayyyy better than it's been in a long time! We only got fries and shakes, but the fries were actually crispy for the first time in forever. Will be back to give the burgers a try again. ?
This location was absolutely irronious and terrible! The service was pathetic and rude. I high suggest finding another location if you still want to enjoy a decent past time place to eat.
It was nice to dine in at steak n shake again!! We have really missed this place. It's one of our favorites. We have never had a bad meal here. Love it!
They switched to order screens and the place was messy from previous customers so they weren't keeping up with demand. The food was excellent though but it felt very robotic not having a waiter or someone to interact with.
