We came in as a large group they weren't expecting and did an amazing job. Food was tasty and our athletes had a great night team building (we were in Marengo for SCTP Nationals) before going back to competition.
Star Lanes Polaris event room is amazing. Great place for a party with private bowling, billards, ping pong, bathrooms and bar. The food was good. Had a blast at a retirement party for some close friends.
One of the cleaner bowling alleys I've been to. The lanes are darkened so to show off the neon colors with the black lights. There is the option to play different games other than traditional bowling. Only reason I don't give up five stars is because they charge by the hour per lane rather than per game. If you're in a small group, or a pair, this is a good deal if you like to bowl; we were in a group of five people (two children) and ran out of time before we could finish our first game.
I had a great time bowling with friends at this establishment. It was quick and easy to get setup for our lane. We were able to do several games within one hour. They have an array of alcoholic drinks and food.
Brought a bunch of staff from my company for a team building and did a mid level food and alcohol package. They were horrible about drink refills, was there for 2 hours and was a fight to get only 3 drinks. The staff didn't care because was all fixed price and fixed huge tip. Then discovered when we would have to chase down drinks at the bar, they then tried to charge us for those as an addition and had to fight that. So many other team building things to do in the area that would be so much better for the money than here.
Went here for a friend's birthday party. It is a pretty noisy and bright place, so as long as you are comfortable with those conditions it will be an enjoyable experience.I would recommend playing without the bumpers, because they are really oversensitive and if you're not careful, the system will give you fouls and even suspend play if you hit the bumpers too hard.It should be noted that there is a bar inside the bowling alley, so just be aware that not everyone around you is necessarily sober. ?Overall, though, the bowling experience is very respectable.
This place is pretty fun! It's an ideal place for a kids party, there's bowling, an arcade, and all sorts of entertainment. If you're not there with kids, the craft beer selection can help drown out the yelling children. But the four TV screens on the wall above the bowling alleys was pretty cool during March Madness! It's a little bit pricier than the average howling alley but it's worth it!
If I could give this place no stars I would. I was completely dissatisfied with the level of service I received Saturday night (03/12/2022). The general Manger JO needs to be retrained on his customer service skills. I paid in advance for a party and received nothing advertised in the package. My husband ( Guest of honor) should have received a certificate to come back (Never Received) We was suppose to have 2 hours of unlimited soft drinks ( Never received) My guest purchased there own drinks as we did not even have a server that took care of just my party. My guest did not receive a full hour of bowling despite that is what we paid for. When confronting the manager about this he became very disrespectful not only to me but to also my mother and other guest in my party. When asked for the number to the cooperate office or the owner. He told me to go find it form the imaginary cooperate office. This man dose not need to be the face and voice of the company as he has no ability to work with customer the proper way. I spent well over $1,300 for this party with 35 guest attending. I have never been so embarrassed or have someone threaten to call the police on me because they were wrong and lack of communication between his team. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE PLACE AND WILL BE REPORTING THIS TO THE BBB AND THE CDC AS OUR ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED PROPERYLY, THE TABLE AND FLOOR WAS STICLY NOT TO MENTION THE MANAGER WHO SERVED THE FOOD HAD NO MASK OR GLOVES ON......... THIS PLACE IS AN ABSULTE JOKE

Terribly unprofessional staff that starts from management on down. Treated my family horribly from beginning to end and my cousin did not get the party area that was promised and paid for. Will not be back.
