Food and beers were fantastic! Sad to see the temporary closure but it is a well deserved rest for the whole crew at Smokehouse. Hope to see you all in a month or so!!!

5/5 on all fronts: taste, dining experience, priceHad the cured and smoked pastrami sandwich with coleslaw. Man was this a treat. The beef brine came through on the palette, and the Swiss cheese complemented the smoky zest. The establishment was cool, clean and the outdoor patio was spacious. Next time I will enjoy a brew outside. The service was attentive and in good mood.

Rocked up to the place pre Red White and Boom and it was closed at 4pm due to staffing issues. I completely understand how difficult it is for restaurants at this time but what is upsetting is that no one called me or messaged me about the closing. A message in the afternoon would have given us enough time to make alternate plans.

Food ok. Not as good as previous meals. Scottish ale recipe has changed. Unfortunately seems like it's on it's last legs. Basically empty 6:30 on a Thursday.

We went in for their limited Father's day menu and it did not disappoint. The triple sausage plate was delicious, the greens were cooked perfectly, and the horseradish mashed potatoes had the perfect level of kick. The brisket melt was sweet and tangy and the meat was falling apart as it should be. The wings here are our favorites, smoked and sauced just right. The kids were very happy with their burgers and the tots were crispy and not at all greasy. Chris is such a gem, she dealt with our hangry kiddos with kindness and a smile and made sure to check on us frequently even though she was really busy.

Waited 20+ minutes at hostess station, no one was there and no others waiting to be seated. Once seated we waited another 20 minutes but were not waited on, had no water or anything so we left! The restaurant appeared to be very short staffed. We did not want terrible service and a lousy experience for Father’s Day. We went to another restaurant where we had fantastic service and a really great experience. Too bad-I was really looking forward to trying a new BBQ restaurant.

Great BBQ choices ... I had clients with me, everyone was happy.

We got there and the place was closed!!!! Terrible I was able to make a reservation for something that wasn’t open.

GREAT night! GREAT food, and EXCELLENT drinks. I am a bourbon snob, and I LOVE that they have Eagle Rare. For a brewery, I thought the draft craft selection was a little weak. And, they did not have any “cask conditioned” beers (even though they have a nice banner on the menu for them). The wings were recommended and did not disappoint. I will caution, however, that this is a “smokehouse” restaurant, so the wings were smokehouse wings. The meat fell off the bone - as advertised, and the selection of sauces were delicious. We also had the smokehouse classic salad (DELISH), and their Chipotle dressing was FANtastic! One minor dig…. The BBQ mac and cheese could have been much better if they hadn’t drowned it in the super-sweet BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce is GOOD, but they overwhelmed the mac and cheese with it. Service was EXCELLENT. Very attentive to us, and we had a large party. Recommendations were on point, and the manager checked in on us regularly. Overall, GREAT new find for us. Not at all crowded, and they were able to take our large party of 10. They are listed on Open Table to make it easy to reserve a table - and you get Points! ? Can’t give it a MUST DO - but would certainly say WORTH A TRY!

Located just south of Grandview, Smokehouse Brewing Company is a bar & grill with a sizeable menu, a full bar, and even a private room for small events. Most of the menu items are designed to pair with specific types of drinks (usually with a reference to said pairing), and the staff is exceptionally prompt and friendly. There isn't much around it in the way of shops, and the location doesn't cater to those without their own transportation, but it is certainly worth the trip if you're looking for an above-average, bar & grill experience. The good: exceptionally friendly staff. The food and service are excellent. The bad: staffing shortages since the pandemic (though the staff and management are great). A pinch pricey (but worth it).The back room is available for small events, including D&D (I've played it here on multiple occasions), and the staff is VERY friendly and accommodating. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would.
