We got to see The Red Jumpsuit Apperatus here and di the VIP seating. The venue was smaller than what I expected but that packed us in for an awesome concert. We were pretty much able to reach and touch the band(which I had to restrain my wife from doing lol). We were right up on the stage front row. There isn't really seating standing only but again it was awesome. Venue dud a get job hosting.
We had a group of 20 that came into dance for 80's night. We just wanted to dance to 80's music. The songs that were played were not well known songs of the 80's. We requested songs such as Whitney Houston and Journey only to be told that they didn't have any songs by them. Really? I asked a bar tender if I could speak to a manager. I waited. I was ignored. So another bar tender asked what I needed. I told him that I would like to speak to a manager to ask about the 80's music. I was told that if I didn't like the music that I should leave. He pointed to the entrance and told me to get out. I was told that they have been playing this music for 80's music for years. As someone who grew up in the 80's, the music played was not representative of the music of that time period. I was not being rude. I just wanted to speak to someone about the music and the DJ was not being receptive to requests. Our group was very disappointed because we really wanted to have some fun dancing to popular 80's music. That bartender was extremely aggressive and the manner in which he conducted himself was unacceptable. If you are going to have an 80's dance night, please pick music that is truly 80's dance music.
An event was listed as being $10. Even came up as $10 when I went to order from Event Brite. I chose to get at the door in lieu of a $2 fee. We were then charged $20 EACH at the door. The only stall door that closes properly in the women’s room is the handicapped one. Although it closes, it doesn’t lock. The bartender was rude. The only thing positive about the place is the sound. If it weren’t for wanting to support the band playing, I would NEVER set foot in this place. TERRIBLE
Would've been nice to be informed of the vaccination policy. I'm fighting to get my money back for these tickets. IDC if it's up to the performer to inform us, ( I've emailed them as well) but it should be on your website "vaccination /test requirements vary depending on the performers" there was nothing. I've been looking forward to this night for months. Really sucks and feels like a big scam
Good staff, lots of space, cool balcony
Had a pretty bad experience here. According to the tickets, the show was supposed to start at 6 but they didn’t open the doors until 6 so everyone got there hella early and we were stuck out in the cold. The sound was trash and the first performers mic kept cutting out, they completely ruined his set and messed up the whole vibe. Lights on stage cut out completely several times during the performances. Would not recommend this place for performers or concert goers. Could’ve just been a bad night for them but their whole business is to provide a good venue for a show and they did not do that
Extremely disappointed with my experience here. Our tickets stated that the show started at 6, so we got to the venue around 5. Online, Skullys hours are listed as opening at 1. However, when we arrived we had to wait outside in the cold until they opened the doors at 6. As a music venue, they should know the difference between when doors open & when the show starts. & if you open at 1pm, why were the doors locked upon arrival for over an hour?We couldn’t even get a drink before the show. Then, when the opener finally was on stage, the sound was completely off and he had to change his whole set because of them not being able to fix the sound for him. The sound was still majorly off for when the headliner performed, AND the lights completely cut off, I mean an entirely dark room, twice during the set. Worst vibe of any show I’ve been to.
I've always loved this venue. and now, I finally know that a third bar is upstairs. I always wondered as a teenager going to concerts why a lot of people were up there lol. it's good people and good vibes. I love it :)
The artists are great! great outdoor smoking area that's covered so rain or shine you can sit comfortable. not too expensive and just all around great energy!
Really awful communication. In line, guy yelled at us all and told us to get out either our vaccine card or proof of a negative COVID test and our ID. I was lucky I had my vax card on me, but my partner did not. The guy yelled out again that we should've gotten and email stating that we needed a negative test or vax to get in. I got no email, and if I did, it was probably months ago and went to spam. NOTHING on their website says anything about covid info. Hell, their calendar page is empty. On their Instagram they said to check the ticket issuers website for covid info. Nothing there either, and nothing stated when I bought the tickets. I know for a fact I am not the only one who went through this same thing at this same concert, I've seen posts from others on the artists blog. Wasted 6 months of anticipation to see one of my idols only to have to leave because I wasn't comfortable going into this dump by myself without my partner, who couldn't even be let in with a mask on the whole time. Improve your communication, update us, be active on your website, honor your guests. Walked away crying. oh, also, not getting my $50 back :/
