Always fantastic. Great food, incredible staff, amazing owners. Their daily specials are so good but it's hard to not get the garden sampler a scoop of each tuna salad, chicken salad, and egg salad, sliced red onions, dill pickle spear, sliced tomato, lettuce, cucumber, your choice of bread (the everything bagel is a must), and a side (can't go wrong with your choice but I love the pasta salad.
My husband took me here for my birthday breakfast. He’s been a few times and It was my first of MANY visits to come. The place was packed but each server, including the owners Scottie and Gina made us feel like we were royalty. Found out that Gina and I share the same special day and Scottie had the entire restaurant sing happy birthday to us. I felt so very special!The food was amazing! Great big portions too. My favorite was the French toast, best I’ve had in years. Will definitely be back.Thanks for such an unforgettable day Scottie and Gina, I’ll remember it always!
Great diner style atmosphere and friendly staff! Great value! I loved their coffee mugs.Both my husband and I ordered their big breakfast with pancakes. I personally had the blueberry pancakes which were delicious! They use real blueberries and the pancake portion was very generous. Two large, thick pancakes with the perfect amount of blueberries in the middle. They didn't need syrup.Another touch was the thinly sliced orange on the bacon and homefries. It added a refreshing unexpected flavor. Bacon was perfectly crisp. We will definitely be back!
Scotty is awesome! Super friendly owner and host, fun experience and GREAT food. Would definitely return. Really good solid ‘old fashioned’ hospitality.
We are in town visiting from NC. We found Scotty’s Cafe as we researched our trip to Ohio. We went for the first time on Tuesday morning before our trip to the conservatory. The waitress was so kind and made my NC sweet tea loving kiddos very happy as she accommodated their want for “real sweet tea!” They also enjoyed the free cupcakes they received before we left! We went back Wednesday morning, per the kids request. This time the owner came and mingled with the kiddos as we waited for our food. He was so kind and joked with the kids. He then proceeded to gift us with tickets to the zoo. It was such a kind gesture; that this mama truly appreciated. The food was so yummy and reasonably priced. We plan to go back Thursday morning before our trip to the science museum. 5/5 stars for both food and friendliness! ❤️
This place is fabulous!!! My husband and I are from Buffalo, and stopped by Scotty’s Cafe while we were briefly in Columbus for a concert. After being disappointed with the lack of restaurant options in the area we stayed, finding Scotty’s was a happy surprise! From the moment we walked into the cafe, we were greeted by two staff members, and everyone (employees and patrons) were so up beat and positive! Scotty recognized we were new to his cafe, and made it a point to make us feel welcome, and his staff were quick to do the same. Their food was an A++, and so was their service along with the general vibe of the cafe. The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious, dessert options were endless, the staff were hard working and seemed genuinely happy to work there. All of their food is made from scratch and I can’t think of one complaint. We will definitely be back again if we are in the Columbus, Ohio area.
My friend knew about Scotty's Cafe, we went Mon. May 2, 2022, food was perfect, just the right amount. Coffee was hot and delicious. Everyone was friendly, making sure we had water, coffee was refilled, table cleared as we finished with a dish. We will definitely be back. Brittany and Carole

Great service! Great food! We're traveling from out of town. Have been looking for a local place to eat. Nothing until this place really caught our attention. Now, we're going to mark this place down, in case we ever come through the area again. Honestly everyone should be going here.
WOW!! ! We stopped in for breakfast today and everything was delicious. Had The Schmoozer, French Toast and Bunny’s Cheese Blintzes. The Schmoozer is freshly made potato latkes with corned beef and over easy eggs. The latkes were the BEST!!! Crispy on the edges, thick, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. Adding the corned beef and eggs makes it the ultimate. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!The blintzes…oh man were they amazing! Soft pillows of blintze wrapped around a light, creamy center and lightly browned. Top with sour cream and jam. The sheer joy on my husband’s face said it all! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!The French Toast was really off the charts! A recommendation from our waitress Yvette and even though we were full we still ate them. =) Made on their house made cinnamon bread, lightly toasted and tender in the center with syrup. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!On top of all the wonderful food, the customer service was above and beyond too! It’s rare to see such positive interaction consistently among staff. Our waitress was so very nice and the owner went to every table talking with customers.THANK YOU! We’ll be back.
