The meat is always good here and the staff are always friendly, but 3 stars because there is a funky smell in the store all the time when I come. It is always such a long visit when I stop in. Expect to be there at least 30 minutes, and to come out with a headache from the smell.
This was my first time shopping there. I liked it and the employees are friendly and the prices are reasonable. I got a cart full of meat under 400 bucks.

Schuman's has quality meats and excellent customer service. You can call and have an order placed for pickup.
One of the top meat markets in the area. If you want top quality meats to create gourmet level meals or insanely awesome grilled food for a date night in or tailgating - this is the place. Premium steaks are perfectly marbled. When I grilled the steaks to medium rare they had a texture as smooth as butter, disintegrate when you bite into it, and have one of the freshest tastes I’ve ever experienced. Once you’ve tried their fresh cut steak you will be able to tell the difference of any other steak you eat if it has ever been even slightly frozen. They also carry additional ingredients to make side dishes. Plan on spending some time there. It’s not a huge building but there’s a ton of selections so allow yourself some time to browse.
We are first time customers. We had the most pleasant experience! Maranda was great and very helpful and considerate. All the people who work there are friendly and polite. We will be buying all our meat here from now on. Thank you Schuman’s!!!

The place is jam packed with people using the Ohio Directions card. I’ve never seen such a display of gluttony. We just wanted to buy steaks for a special occasion that we saved up for, but the line was out the door. One woman bought 1500 dollars of beef and lobster tail and the ohio card paid the entire tab. Where can I sign up for this? Been working my whole life and never imagined such gross abuse of taxpayers. I’ll find another meat store in the future.
This place is always packed. Today I waited an hour for some T-Bones but it's so worth it. They've been in business for years. I know that four of my families generations have shopped at Schuman's and hopefully four more will.
