First, the fish water made it hard to stay but we were already there.Someone please save the fish.Second, all of the sauces were diluted in turn making them bland.Last, the told us they had a birthday song and didn't do it, then we had to remind them about the additional items for our dinner. The cook was fun and interactive but it didn't not help the taste of the food.
So disappointed. The yum yum sauce was more like yuck yuck sauce. The chef had absolutely no presentation. The veggies were gross and raw..the chef didn’t seem to care and obviously was rushing through our food to go to another table that had people he knew sitting and “waiting” for him.The food was really disappointing for hibachi and the prices that they are charging. They also charge a $2 up charge for fried rice? Are you kidding me?!
If I could give this place no stars I would. I had a birthday dinner planned here, I made a reservation for 8 even confirmed 2 days before they said it would be no problem. Got there for them to tell me they are not doing reservations and I had to wait an hour and 30 mins past my reservation time to eat. The manager was extremely rude and loud with my aunt and father for simply asking questions. The cook was rude and dry. Didn’t do any tricks or anything. The bar was not open so I couldn’t sit and enjoy a drink while I waited for my table. Dead fish in their pond. Would not recommend eating here at all customer service sucked, except our waiter he was nice!
Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. The menu had no mention of wine being used to cook the food which is not something Muslims can consume. When we raised this concern with the owner and explained that people from different backgrounds will come here and it’s best to add this note on the menu for future cases, she only cared about us making the payment which we were going to do regardless - she spoke over us and pointed right at us and told us it was our fault for not asking beforehand. Extremely rude customer service and would not recommend to anyone.
Definitely not worth the money, Especially for how rude the hostess was. Food wasnt all that , Yum yum was watery n had a bitter taste. The cook was very unprofessional. Thought why not and try this place out for a Valentine’s Day dinner for me n my fiancée not the best of experience here will not return.
First the negative 1) I had called for reservations a week in advance since I knew it was Valentines day. We had a 5pm reservation and when we arrived to check in we were told they could not find our name. However they were able to work us in quickly. 2) my wife had ordered their combo 6 oz steak with chicken and fried rice. She received everything but no chicken the chef informed us that the order he received had only steak and no chicken. The server who took our order failed to put chicken on the menu provided to the chef. The people sitting on both sides of us said they remembered my wife saying steak and chicken combo. 3) our yum yum sauce seemed a little watery. 4) it wasn't until our Chef was finished and moved on to another table that our server offered to refill our drinks. But with the current staffing shortage figured not that unusual. 5) our Chef was very good but did not put on as big of show that the restaurants television advertisement had shown. Second the positive 6) the Chef did a great job of preparing the food he even separated the steak as to how customers had requested theirs prepared medium rare, medium, medium well, and well done. 7) all the food tasted very good the flavor was delicious. When you receive your check watch it closely for they automatically add a tip/gravity on the check but the check still has a place on it for a tip in addition to the one that the restaurant has added.
We've been all over the greater Columbus area looking for a good hibachi place. House of Japan in Polaris was unnecessarily crowded and the bathrooms were wretched. Iron Chef in Pickerington was absolutely disgustingly filthy. Went to Fujiyama on a Groupon and left before we even ordered. This place is different. It was well lit, clean, friendly staff, good service, good food and our orders were correct. My family can't wait to go back!
Great for family and even romantic atmosphere. Took some of my friends for their first time experienceand they loved it. The kids were impressed and enjoyed the good food. There is a little pond at the entrance and a nice decor which makes for beautiful picture and memories.
Pretty awful food. ordered the “Sakura Special for 2” poor quality ingredients and lack of care from the chef, poor management. DONT expect anything from your server, it’s as if the serving staff are ghosts. Didn’t thoroughly cook our vegetables and over cooked our seafood. Steak and chicken were the only “safe” bets, even then use cation as I had chicken bits that weren’t fully cooked. CAUTION. There’s gratuity added on to your bill already (nearly 20%) and they still ask for another tip on top.Not the greatest place to spend your anniversary. Though the atmosphere is pretty, I will probably get food poisoning from this. For the quality of food and service, you’d expect the price to be lower.Disappointed
It's ideal for a family gathering or even a romantic setting. I took some of my friends on an excursion for the first time, and they liked it. The kids were thrilled and liked the delicious cuisine.
