Very friendly staff, Really good food. I got the beef and lamb rice, chicken sambosa, and orange juice and ate the entire thing myself. Very heavy portions for a decent price as well. I would definitely go back. I only gave a four star review because the lamb was a bit chewy but everything else was amazing!
Randomly was getting my window fixed and stopped by, Food flavor definitely on point.So far ive purchased half and half chicken and then lamb. Lamb defs my fav so far but too many bones so slightly a turn off having to eat with bones. Still worth it. Good priceLocation is next to a gas station. Service is pretty quick. Staff is cool. No issues on my part. Took food to go. Probs defs would never dine in , lowkey sketch area lol
Safina has the BEST quality, quantity & delicious taste in all of Columbus! It is by far my favorite restaurant in Columbus. Every time I go in it is so friendly and welcoming. It is a slice of Africa inside of a restaurant. Beautifully ran. Well maintained and every time I get something different because there are a million different combinations so no matter what you are in the mood for they will thirst your quench with nutritious deliciousness!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The workers are nice and welcoming, The food is a wonderful explosion of flavors in your mouth, It's a hidden gem in the wall that you'll never regret coming to. The cleanliness of the restaurant is pretty nice, I haven't checked the bathroom's, but based off of everything else I'm assuming that it's at least decent. The price is very affordable! I would rate this place a 10/5 Star if it was possible. I recommend everyone to give it a try
Absolutely incredible. And open late, too! I bring everyone i love here. I feel so nourished after every meal, and I don't know what flavor their (complimentary!!) tea is, but it tastes like getting kissed by an angel. Thanks, and see you soon!
The food was amazing! I've had gyro and rice many times in a lot of different places, but I've never seen it done quite like how they do it here. Even their french fries were unique, with them using a spice blend that I've never seen used on fries before. The avocado smoothie was also really good. This place is a true hidden gem of a restaurant.
I stopped at Cleveland and Morse rd Shell station for fuel and saw the sign for SAFINA AFRICAN Food. I ordered the lamb and rice it was served on Basmati long rain rice cooked perfectly. The mix of tender lamb and veggies was Wonderful. They offer Halal meat options too. I will be back to try more delicious choices.
I come to Ohio to visit my girlfriend and I found this little gem.The staff is beyond friendly and the vibes in the restaurant are awesome.The food is amazing and fresh.I got the chicken and rice and they added some special sauce to it it was amazing. The portion size is huge definitely could’ve made two meals out of it but I couldn’t stop eating.They have three special drink choices all of which I tried and they all were amazing.African koolaid, Mango smoothie and pineapple gingerMy personal favorite was the Pineapple ginger juice.Everyone seems to enjoy the chicken quesadilla and that is what I will try next time.Next time I come out to Ohio I will be coming back!
Absolutely delicious. All the food has been cooked for hours an you can tell. Lamb was tender. Beef was also. Whole meal just melts in your mouth.
Staff’s hygiene is terrible, kitchen is dirty, unorganized & filthy. Food containers are wide open & not kept properly. The whole place looks like a warehouse and smells terrible.Costumer don’t follow social distancing while inside the restaurant.On top of that, there are crackheads all over the block which unsafe and ghetto.Hope the Ohio health department pays this place a surprise visit.
