Location is good, food is good, alcoholic drinks are fairly priced and the selection is good. They have darts, billiards, jenga and a few other things to occupy yourself with. UFC fights are shown here and always a bunch of fun events going on. Been coming here for a long time so it disappoints me to say this, but if the staff doesn’t fix their attitude then I will have to find a new place. The new staff is young(it’s not a problem that they are young lol), disrespectful and arrogant. There’s like three cool employees but those employees aren’t new. If I get one more objectively disrespectful remark from these new ones I will not be coming back again and neither will my friends because they noticed it too. I tip very well and am always respectful so I expect at least decency and if I can’t get that then, goodbye! Lmao two of the homies asked for water and the waitress told him “no. We need to make money” even though they bought mad drinks, just needed water for some rehydration.
DIACLAIMER: I love Rude Dog- the employees, the food, the atmosphere... I come here A LOT, and I always have a great experience, with everything. Food, conversation, beer. They have some of the best burgers I've ever eaten, and the beer selection is great. That has NEVER happened before, and I just wanted to bring it to their attention so that they can figure out what the bug was tonight, because it was just so out of the ordinary it felt awkward.Something was "off" tonight- don't know what it was or why, but it seemed to spread further out into the crowd the longer we stayed (I hope it wasn't my cologne) and you could definitely sense it, whatever "IT" was.Normally I would chalk something like this up to staff issues, or a bad plan/par, or any of the other 10,000 facets of the industry that could malfunction and affect how a well-oiled machine runs...and THEY HAPPEN.This was different, and it was getting worse quickly.Had mom with me today, and we rolled in about 6:30 I would say. It was fairly busy, which I was glad to see for a change-t hank God the businesses and industries are coming back to life. And found two places towards the end of the bar where the regulars hang out, which I enjoy. We were greeted by a new face to me, and unfortunately I can't remember her name, but she was very very pretty (shameless flirt) and asked us what we would like to drink. Drinks took a while to get there which is not a big deal, but it just seemed like everybody would just kind of didn't care attitude tonight. I ordered a steak which was the most leathery piece of steak I've ever had in my entire life, it was obviously fried on a flat top, and ordered medium rare but was very very well done. Other than that I can't complain, like I said it just must have been an off day, but it is what it is. If you have not been here, you need to go NOW
First(and last) visit with a friend of mine. Ordered a salad that priced at 11 dollars. What arrived at our table was a very small bowl typical of side salad that comes with a dinner. I mentioned to the waitress that this was certainly not an 11 dollar salad. She said nothing. I expect to pay 11 to 15 for a salad alone, but this was totally unacceptable.
Great place to go during the week on a day off! food is delicious and enjoy the karaoke every wednesday with DJ Steve. ??
Wow! Not what I was expecting when I went in. The atmosphere and clientele was a nice mix. The wait staff complimented each other perfectly. I would not feel out of place going here after a 9 to 5 suit and tie job or finishing up a Saturday poker run with leathers on. Everyone was greeted and treated with the same respect from the outstanding wait staff. You have a good thing going here.
Honestly did not have high expectations for this place. They where great. We where there when it was busy and the service was great. Good beer selection. Everyone in my party loved their food. The only thing I can nit pick about is the fried pickles where super salty but we ate them anyway and drank more beer.
I've been to a lot of bars, im here to tell you but this one by far is one of the best. The staff is AWESOME. If you haven't been, GO! It's also a great place to take that special someone for a night of karaoke fun. ?
Awesome bar and menu. Best place to watch sports. Especially the Browns and Buckeyes. Meatloaf sandwich w roasted asparagus ?
