Cody is Amazing and very fast service. Every time we text for our vehicle it was great service. Hotel is very clean and friendly and housekeeping always had fresh towels and bed made Every day. Highly recommended anytime you vist Columbus

This location is a good central location to many areas. The staff was professional and outgoing with an authentic approach. However, the facility itself is tired and in need of updating. The pool fell short in providing a welcoming environment as it is perched on the outside decking of the 4th floor, really nothing more than an in ground pool surrounded by a slab of concrete and insignificant seating sparsely populating the surrounding area. Bottled water was nowhere to be found and coffee service was not available after 9:00 AM creating and a significant gap in on site dinning availability as the restaurant did not open until 11:00~ In summary, the staff was great but too many deficiencies to overcome in the facility to warrant another stay.

We were immediately taken care of by a wonderful staff. From the awesome registration desk staff to Eli H. escorting us to our room and carrying in all the luggage! First class service has been our experience at the Renaissance Downtown Columbus! A+++

Jacob M was WONDERFUL!!! Super nice ! Helped us with all of us luggage as nice as possible!! If you ever come here ask for Jacob M he will take care of you!! We had a horrible experience at quality inn and the renaissance took us right in!!! 10/10 will come here again

Upon check-in, we learned there was no AC. The staff never offered a discount for the inconvenience - we had to ask. I booked this hotel solely for the rooftop pool and it was a complete disappointment. The pool furniture is old with paint chilling away on the loungers and the cushions are not maroon, but grey and worn out - falsely represented in the internet images. There were no towels when the pool opened and no food or service. It’s time to update this entire hotel to be honest. It clearly has been neglected. The rooms are run down and frankly were not very clean.

So I'm here on business and the company has made reservations. The company had not paid for the rooms because of some confusion to our reservations. We called our travel office and they guaranteed payment. However, the attendant was very reluctant to give us rooms unless we place it on our personal card and then have the company reimburse us. Mind you this is a fortune 500 company that keeps its commitments. We only had a three hours before we had to travel onward. Anyway 2 hours later they received the authorization and then the attendant offered the rooms. My colleague accepted but I declined because our limo was due in 30min. I will be writing this event to our company and hopefully we drop this hotel for I got no rest but aggravation. So much for customer satisfaction or working to resolve issues. Horrible job I would have expected better.

My room had hair on bathroom wall and towel rack was broken. Called to have that fixed came back to room door was left propped open and towel rack was not fixed. Next night toilet stopped working. Finally moved me to different room. That room was smaller with smaller bed, bathroom floor was dirty and had used soap bar in shower. Asked for a partial refund or reduced price. Manager said they couldn't do anything because I had gone through Expedia. Next day talked to another manager, she said we would get points back to use later. Would take a couple days to show up. Two weeks later and nothing. Very poorly run hotel.

Breakfast ? is not stellar: Fruit has no taste, pancakes are toaster variety that are served frozen, then thawed out eventually in food warmers.Shower ? water was completely cut off at 10pm, and was not available again until 5 am. ??‍♀️ With no warning.Pool was fun, open air, 4th floor. Pool tables/Chairs are worn. You have to go down to front desk and get a wristband for every person in ur party deciding to swim, which is a little inconvenient. There was not enough clean towels in the rooms. Normally there is a set of 4, only a set of two available.Entire hotel seemed as if it has seen better years. degrading tint film on glass makes it hard to see out the window.

I stayed here overnight on Friday 6/3, and again on Sunday, 6/4. Stars in room 725 & room 808. I’m a Mariott Bonvoy member. Pros: Friendly staff. Valet parking (albeit with a $35 charge). Tasty chicken wings. Cons: 6/3 stay, room 725: - room floor/carpeting was filthy. I had brand new white socks on that literally were fresh out of the package and until I walked on the floors n room 725, had never touched any other floor. Socks were filthy dirty from that floor. - No remote control for TV. Called front desk & was told someone would be up to my room with a remote. 2 hours later, No one came. I called the front desk again and told them to forget it, as I was going to sleep. - A/C was set for 79.5 degrees-hotter than hell in that room on my arrival. I turned it down to 72, and it never went lower than 76. - Dust and filth under the desk was awful - No mattress pad on the king bed. Just a thin sheet between my body and whatever stains on that mattress - gross! - Mattress was lumpy and hard. - Towels were the roughest I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. 6/5 stay in room 808: - stayed in room with 2 queen beds, one of which had no mattress pad. - dust and filth under the desk. - Black hairs found in one of the bedsheets - Ordered room service, was told at time of order “should be about 20 minutes.” 45 min later, no food. I called and was told at first, “it’s slow, maybe they didn’t notice the order.” Then, after the employee checked, I was told, “It’s busy, sorry. It will be up in 5 min.” - Spoke to another guest in the elevator who said her room was also filthy dirty and that she’d found bobby-pins on the floor. I will never ever stay there again. I paid $400.68 for 6/3 & $247.93 for 6/5. Absolutely not worth the money. I would have been better off staying at a cheap Motel 6. On 6/5, when checking out, I was asked how my stay was and I politely told them of my concerns. I’m sure nothing will be done.

Couldn't pay me to stay here again. Ac didn't work properly, toilet in the room almost at the ground (never seen it so low to the ground in my life), thousand degrees in the lobby, went to the bar twice and both times they made it clear they didn't want to serve us. Valet people were very polite that's the only reason I'd give them a star. This place was the spirit airlines of hotels nickel and diming for every little thing.
