Went for the first game of the Stanley Cup (Avs vs Lightening). Beer was good, place was pretty empty and the kitchen closed around 8:30pm so we ordered some stuff and it sat on our table in case we got hungry. Really the beer selection was solid and the pretzel was great too, the bar tender was great.. just hoping for an average bar and this seemed dead.
Hate to do this but burgers were overcooked, forgot the sauce for the wings, didn't sub out the salad but still charged us for it. Very disappointing considering the nice area, and outdoor seating. Even a few drinks in the food was a miss.Went Saturday night 6/18I'll up from 1 star to a 3 star for the prompt reply from the owner on this / will perhaps try again. Drinks were fine, and the patio was nice.
The place to be before hockey games. Just don't come in with other teams hockey gear on because this Columbus baybay!! Great selection of brews and liquor. Free popcorn. Ask for John, the best bartender!

Get in the thick of the getting psyched for a game and visit this one of a kind fun, friendly, inviting bar. R Bar is around the corner from the arena as well as across from the parking garage. The natives are friendly... come on out and hang and spend time on the outside patio too.
Always the spot before a jackets game!! Really wish I could have gotten a pizza after the game like I use to! But still a great time. The Beer tower is super cool.
They are short staffed so weren't serving food when we were there. Not sure how often that happens. Usually have food and it's good bar food. Staff who was working was friendly. Always a good time.
Awesome hockey hangout, and great place to go before a Blue Jackets game! I just wish they didn't serve so many fans from the opposing team. Keep them out!! Make it a CBJ honly place!! ?

Great bar, decent prices. Pool table could use some TLC but at a sports bar in a college town I understand it’s not really an investment. Staff was friendly, did not try the food but the wings smelled amazing. Great option to have Keno and such. Totally worth the stop, and try the tower of beer!
