I give this a 2 only because I didn't have a good experience the second time around. When my husband and I first walked in and sat down at the bar, no one came over right away to greet us and ask what we were eating or drinking, my husband ask the bartender a friendly question and he didn't answer him! A older gentleman walked in and set close to us, same bartender rushed over to him and waited on him first then turned to us to ask what we would like. I was excited to get back here because a couple of weeks ago I had a smoked turkey club which was sooo good. I told the bartender that's what I wanted and I also told him I have a shellfish allergy, his response was we are super busy tonight and we don't have time to clean the flat skillet grill off or otherwise I would have them clean the whole thing off for you, I just don't want you to get sick. I have never been told from a restaurant we can't clean the area/grill/stove/oven off because we are too busy. Super disappointed!!! Their food is really good and I will not go back there because of the lack of customer service.
Excellent diner meets cool dive. Everything on the menu is good. Pizzas have a light fluffy thick crust, and are very crisp, with fresh toppings.
We really loved our waitress more than anything else. Her name was Meredith. She was very enthusiastic and encouraging. When I didn’t like my old fashioned, she went ahead and made it the way she likes it and it was delicious! Plus she comped the one I didn’t like. She really is a gem. You need waitresses like her in more places! She rocks!
Great atmosphere, great food and Meredith was exceptional! Will definitely be back again soon.
Giving 5 stars mainly because it's the only place open for beer AND food after 10:00 PM on a Thursday night after two major professional sporting events (NHL & CONCACAF). Some pretty good local draft selection and staff was great.
Great service, excellent burger ,wasn't a big fan of this type of fries but overall definitely go back. Prices were also fair ?
Visiting from out of town for work, wanting a local place with a relaxed vibe but good comfort food for dinner. Was wanting a place that wasn’t really catering to the college crowd and this was it. Staff was very friendly and polite, and the press burger with bacon and cottage fries was SO good. I’d definitely come back. It’s a chill laid back atmosphere in a cute neighborhood.
Love coming here during my lunch break. I’m usually in and out within 20/30 minutes. Super friendly people with very fast service. Food is very reasonably priced, and always delicious. I recommend their burger or their pesto chicken sandwich. Their daily specials are always killer. Definitely recommend eating here
Awesome chicken wings! I frequent this place when I can and traffic isn't crazy because they stay pretty busy, nice atmosphere and nice staff ??
Love this place and the people. Good food, price and atmosphere. Try Press Pub in Grandview. Equally good and has a patio.
