After hearing much praise about pot belly, I decided that after working a 12-hour shift in the ICU, instead of going home and making dinner, I would just pick something up. And why not try something new from potbelly.This should have been an easy interaction. I order online. I go in the store. I walk to the pickup area and I pick up the food. Instead what I got was walking into the store and being berated by an elderly woman employee about how I shouldn't put my grubby little hands on my food before they come and serve me.Which is totally fine. I totally understand why you don't want random people touching random people's foods. However, I saw my name on the ticket and it was my bag. So instead of being rude and disrespectful about it, why don't you hide it behind the counter or somewhere not accessible to the public to force people to talk to the staff to get the food. I have worked customer service in over 10 years. I would never imagine talking to a customer like this ever. So I don't know who you people are hiring here, but it's time to reevaluate your employees. And at the end of this, is the food even good? I don't know. I'm quite frankly I don't care because this will be the first and last interaction I ever have at this sandwich shop. Hope it was worth losing a customer over.

They are ok about half the time. They keep screwing up my order. My recommendation is if you want it done right repeat yourself and don't leave the shop or pay until it's done correctly. Don't order online, your bag gets sealed up for "accuracy" but really it's a deterrent for you not to check your order until you get home and then it's too late your sandwich isn't right.

Im usually not the type to write bad reviews but I felt the need to. I went here for the first time & ordered the "Avo Turkey" the girl that was making my sandwich asked what I wanted on it , I said "everything that's normally on it" while I looked up at the sandwich menu , it says there's Turkey , Swiss , Avocado & Cucumbers .I go to checkout and the guy at the cash register says "you didn't want avocado?" I said very nicely with a smile on my face "yea did she put it on there?" , the girl looks at me and says "well when i asked you if you wanted meat and cheese you said yes" & i said "you asked me what i wanted on it and i told you everything that normally goes on it" very nicely still will a smile & she huffs and puffs while rolling her eyes very rudely and says "then can i just put the avocado in a to go cup" i said "yea thats fine" then she goes to get it & starts mumbling to another working as the other worker is looking at me , everyone else was nice but her & I was being very respectful the whole time . I had a bad day already and just wanted to try something new and she really ruined my night.

I love Potbelly's but the crew working tonight was super unprofessional, cursing in front of me about the previous customer. They told me I couldn't eat inside as well. Young man was nice tho.

My boyfriend tried ordering from here through grub hub a couple weeks ago and go just mushrooms and cheese on bread. We thought we would give it another try tonight, ordering through grub hub again, and that was a mistake. He ordered an Italian and I’m not kidding, it just has meat on it. No toppings at all. I ordered a veggie melt, and it’s Mayo, lettuce, and cheese on bread. None of the toppings I ordered. How does a place mess up this bad multiple times?

Subs at this location just so so. Not much meat or other ingredients. Should be better for the price you are paying. Have had same subs at other locations and they did a much better job.

I love Potbelly but I’ll never come back to this one. Ordered food online, got a call saying they were out of some of the items, no problem, so I asked to cancel and she said ok. They handle delivery through DoorDash, which isn’t immediately apparent. But later DoorDash texted me that they’d be picking up my order. so I called back this Potbelly to confirm the cancellation. Lady immediately bit my head off telling me to settle it with DoorDash, and I was like “no, I spoke to you, can you just confirm?” Crazy lady literally screamed saying “I cancelled your order!” And hung up. Geez. Never going back there again.

I just ordered for the first time through a third party. I ordered 2 Italian subs and there was none of the veggies and only meat but very little. They forgot the soups I ordered and paid for. At least the chips were good. Very disappointed. Was really excited to try!

I am an avid customer at the Potbelly on Olentangy, and I had the ABSOLUTE WORST service tonight! First off, they were out of everything! After ordering, I noticed that my Macaroni and Cheese was only a quarter of the way filled and looked old and crusty. DISGUSTING! After complaining, the employee tried to argue with me. The salad was also not as large as I had ordered! Below is a picture of the two. Also, none of the employees had their masks above their chin. We are in a pandemic people! I am extremely disappointed! I have pictures to prove!

I recently placed an order through Grubhub with my friend. We ordered 2 wrecks, and one of the sandwiches they gave us was the wrong one. I started by calling the store, and in short was told that it's not their problem. I called Grubhub in which they only offered a partial refund. I called the store again, and asked to speak to the manger. I was told I was speaking to her, and I began to explain what happened. She gave me the same explanation as the original lady did, without even apologizing for the situation. I then asked if I could file a complaint against her and the other employee, and if that would be with her or someone else. She gave me the name of the GM, but when I asked for her name, she said quote, "That's none of your business" and hung up on me immediately with quite the rude tone. I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service, and would like the situation to remedied. I have had quite positive experiences with other stores in the past, hence the reason I tried to reason with this one. However, it seems that the management at this store would be a prime example of how one bad apple ruins the batch.
