If I want spicey chicken popeye's is by far the best around central Ohio! When in New Albany or Granville area, I will plan on an extra 30 minute drive before going back north to home
This location is Low-key unreasonably good by Popeyes standards, not the easiest to get to with all the construction on Hamilton but service is fast and friendly and the food hits
Bought an 8 piece with large cole slaw and large rice and beans. Paid $29. Got 4 small wings and 4 dry chicken breasts. Never again. Giving 2 stars because the cole slaw and rice and beans were good.
Popeyes has the best chicken around, hands-down. The chicken pieces are always fresh and crispy, and never too greasy. The tenders are always moist and crispy, and we absolutely love the new Mac and cheese! Popeyes is our go-to for fried chicken!
What you should know is that you’ll be in line for no less than 20 minutes for mediocre food.Unfortunately COVID impacted staffing tremendously at this location: the dining room is constantly closed, the drive through is intentionally held in order to manipulate window times since that’s what most corporations use to assess staff performance…it’s terrible.Popeyes as a franchise is consistent so the food is typically good and orders are accurate, but don’t be surprised if you wait for 30+ minutes for cold food.
Female employee yelled at us because of something we misheard. Waited 25 minutes in line and waited another 30 minutes for our food. Brought out the wrong food. Yelled at by the same lady when we asked where our food was after 25 minutes. Chicken was dry and rubbery with no sauce, and fries where soggy and unseasoned. I love Popeyes but this is by far the worst one I’ve gone to. Very unprofessional
Just not worth it. $10 for a 3pc, side, a white hockey puck and a small drink. "You wanna a make that a medium drink?" "Sure" = Charged a $1 extra for a medium instead of a small = a complete and utter GFY rip-off. The three pieces of chicken were pretty pathetic, the leg was passable, the wing was bone and breading and the same with what I assume was a thigh (I'd swear they stripped off 80% the meat and just breaded the leg joint and hip bone). I paid two extra dollars for the third piece and only one of 3 pieces was even passable. Rec'd wrong side dish and no utensils, the side I rec'd was mashed potatoes and they taste 80% like bell peppers. Spent $11 and I'm still hungry. Next time I'll spend $15 at Hot Chicken Takeover and get way way way better quality. Note to managers: Practice your core chicken making skills, source better cuts and less on upselling desserts and rip-off drink upgrades.
One of the best Popeyes experience I had in a long time….very professional good teamwork fast an friendly… most important food fresh !!! Highly recommended
2/19/2022ordered around 8:10pm. The ladies were so professional even though they were busy as always. But their resilience and determination to get through the night should be celebrated! We will definitely be back!
