Always loved Popeyes 20 yrs ago in Louisiana....now here. Pieces like baby chicken and waaaaay over cooked. Spoke with manager, didn't much carewhat the customer thinks.
When it comes to chicken this is always one of my top choices. Besides being close to my job, they have a nice variety of chicken and specialty items. The sides are excellent my favorites are mac and cheese and red beans and rice. I can't forget about the deserts and the Lemonade, peach is the best. The new chicken sandwich and seasonal fish are a great substitute for classic chicken. Bottom line, you can't go wrong stopping by Popeyes for lunch, dinner or late night snack.
I ordered 2 spicy wing combos and a breast and wing combo adding on a extra breast. we like white meat and we like spicy so we did not mind the 20min wait. when I got home I noticed we were missing a whole combo so I called to complain and Sandy was very nice took my info to replace my meal. We began to eat the food to find although we waited for spicy it was all mild and undercooked. I didn't call back to complain and at this point the can keep the meal they shorted me. Had to throw all the chicken away. the mac and cheese was good though and the free apple pie we got for patiently waiting. I wont be back I just had to trash a $40 order.
They never gave me my card back, so the several days I tried to get it back it was moved safe to safe, and everytime I was told another manager needed to be present. I am now leaving the area, cancelling my card, and extremely dissapointed.
Been to the Popeyes on W. Broad on several occasions. Most times the service is not so great but the food is typically good. This time the service was majorly lacking and the food is horrible. I ordered the flounder sandwich for the first time, excited to try and it's barely cooked the breading is still soggy and I went for my go to shrimp but it's so hard I'm afraid to eat it. Used to be one of my favorite places. Definitely a hard pass for the future. Hope things get better
The chicken tenders we ordered were not done caused me to have food poisoning. Symptoms were diarrhea and felt very nauseated and real weak. Thank God my husband only ate half of a chicken tender but as for me I ate 3-4 chicken tenders and felt horrible. So make sure you all be careful.
I’m so disappointed with this particular Popeyes! Every time I go I NEVER get everything I ordered! So I have to check my bag before I leave the drive-through! I went on Monday they forgot my fries, I went back on Thursday they only gave me 2 chicken sandwich when I order 3 of them. Just be careful when you go! And make sure you check your order before you leave! Because I guarantee you will be missing something! Need to do better!!
Ordered a 3 piece white meat and Mac & cheese. Drove home to Newark opened up the the box and it was full of French fries. Need I say more. Should I have check? Yes. Should I have to? No. Ridiculous
I ordered my meal through uber eats, 1 lrg fry and 1 lrg Red Bean and Rice, I got 2 lrg fry!!!I am upset. They literally had one job.
I've never been treated so rudely the young man with braids at the window was obviously irritated about something, he was very rude slamming the window open shoving my food to me like I was bothering him or more less like I came to the window for a hand out not a paying customer for sure! and closed it before I could ask for any condiments, When he realized I was still at the drive thru window he slammed it back open told me as i was trying to once again ask for honey and butter for biscuits that he put it in the bag with out even letting me tell him what it was I was asking for. Which you can probably guess that wasn't in the bag, only two hot sauce packets were in the bag for an 8 pc meal nothing else no napkins or anything . I was very upset to say it mildly but I was kinda ready to snap on that individual and be a little more than rude after his tone , attitude and treatment towards me , I was definitely not loving my chicken from Popeyes and hope that no one else has experienced this kind of hospitality from this location . up side condiments or not fresh delicious chicken
