Surprisingly good! Had a ribeye steaks that was very good baked potato and fried shrimp. Did not have the buffet but might try it next time. The server was very nice and made the meal even more enjoyable.
Been awhile since I've been in a Ponderosa and this one reminds me of why...I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Burger with seasoned steak fries.. and the buffet..The Burger was actually decent and the Fries were as well.The staff was another highpoint friendly and attentive.The downside is the buffet literally not worth eating...Very little to choose from and everything I had was bland or stale from sitting too long...In conclusion if you want to stop in do yourself a favor and just order from the menu and avoid buffet!
This location was not stellar. I will not return to it.The buffet varied in overall quality, freshness and preparation being two personal issues. I have experienced a Ponderosa buffet at a different location that was better but still average. Nothing to write home about in my opinion.
I hit the restaurant at a real bad time : the whole area was without electricity as it had just gone off: they said because of that they were technically closed : I had driven up from west Chester on the way to the hospital because of a friend that was in a Coma : I was hungry and have eaten at this location before and the food has always been good: The hot bar was still hot and the salad bar was still up : After sharing with the manager the purpose of my trip, he said that I was welcome to eat. I did take up the offer. I had eaten a steak before and was looking forward to eating another one, but because of circumstances, I didn’t get the chance this time .But in addition to the food being good today, the employees at this location were amazing.I never felt rushed and they demonstrated kindness in service as they waited on me. As I was leaving, All of the employees thanked me for coming in. Wow , I am not use to that kind of customer service from the top to the waitress and all of the others. It made a difficult trip enjoyable: Thank you so much and I will be returning when in the area : Always remember that “ Customer service is the key ingredient to a company’s Success “. The greatest asset in an organization are the people they employ : The Management at this restaurant from my observation Is doing it right. Thank you so much :

The service was excellent our server was super sweet and went out of her way to male sure we were taken care of. The buffet was delicious. My only complaint is that I ordered a rare steak and it came out med/medwell.... My waitress was very sweet and took it back to have it re-cooked. It came out again but was again over done. They made sure i was taken care of and overall have no complaints. We will be back because of their customer service!
Our service was good. The food was very good. In our town Ponderosa closed about 23 years ago so we were very happy to find this one. The place was very clean. My only disappointment was they changed the wings and they were not very good and they use to be sooo good.
They have completely upgraded their food and they did a phenomenal job. The vegetables taste fresh and seem to have no added salt. In fact, everything had less salt. The Buffalo wings were amazing. All of the hot food was hot and the cold food was cold and the salad bar items were crisp and delicious. The service was great and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I had the sirloin tips and I have to say, as the first steak I've had at ponderosa in a while, I was impressed as their steak seems to be way higher quality than it used to be. Great food and great casual dining experience. Very reasonably priced. 2 seniors, 2 adults, 3 kids (2, 3, and 7) with sirloin tip entree with all adults having iced water it was less than $70 with tax, before tip. Highly recommended!
Potato and salad was good. But the thin rib eye wasn't seared. Pink on the outside. Steak did not look anything like the restraunt photo. Did not taste that good. Cook needs training big time.
Waitress Mimi was great and working very hard.I paid $50 for my wife and myself for a burnt steak with no flavor ( I don’t know what happened to seasoning!) we will not be going back.
