Really been trash my past few visits. Worker at register will just help person before me and hold conversation as if I am not standing there and will finally ask if I need help after a minute or two. They were one of my favorite places out here but as most places on campus, they’re having a competition for who can have the worst customer service.
Very yummy! Nice environment, too, with clean bathrooms.
My Husband and I are both from San Diego CA, ...the atmosphere here reminded us of Oceanside. Our Acai Bowls were delicious...I would have given a 5star rating ... Just felt that Staff was a bit on the grumpy side. Blessings to you and we wish you much success.
Tried this as a recommendation from my friend and it was very good! I really loved the couple of times I got it but started to notice an inconsistency in their quality of fruit and portions. Inconsistency with food is one of my biggest pet peeves and I haven’t gone in a while because of that. This was the place that introduced me to açaí bowls and I was thoroughly impressed and enjoyed it so much. I just wished there was some consistency with the food and also not having a sticky bowl lol. Very uncomfortable to handed a sticky bowl.
I live in Boca Raton and love the Playa there! I was extremely excited to see a Playa in Columbus! Same delicous bowls! Deducted a star because after 5 visits, all online orders, they have never gotten my order completely correct despite notes included in the order. Recommend getting granola on side, always seems to be way too much.
Doordashed our order. Waited an hour and both of our smoothie bowls were missing. Only one smoothie was somewhat in tact. Half of the other smoothie spilled and was dripping all over the bag and our carpet. We had to use resolve. Called location and staff was unhelpful.
Instagramable sugar bombs. The bowls look pretty good, but digging into them, they aren't great. Way too much granola which tastes like a sugary cereal. One of our bowls was ordered 1/2 and 1/2 but wasn't made that way. $30+ for 2 bowls a drink and tip for two people is a lot for what you get here.
Everything on the menu here is amazing! My husband and I order from here probably about 2 to 4 times a month! We are obsessed! I 100% recommend you try it if you haven't before!
The best possible açaí or smoothie or fruit anything in the state of Ohio. As a plus they have A++ service from the local collage. Somehow they have found a dedicated crew that takes pride in their work. As a result you get consistently a great product and service that is above or beyond. Take the kindness of ChickFilA and then imagine the staff here being even friendlier and prideful of the work they do. Also they have a sick playlist almost always playing when you go in. My favorite bowl is the tropical açaí, Nutella. My kiddos land on the 8th Ave and booster smoothie
I took my wife and kids here this weekend and they loved it!!!! The staff here was so friendly and just an overall great aesthetic and great music. The food was so good and the kids were head over heels for it. Keep it up Playa Bowls!!!!!
