We were in German village decided to try planks out. Good food great choice of different beers. They have a covered outdoor section, and an indoor area. Staff was attentive, and polite. Will return again.
I've been outside at Planks Bier Garten on many occasions, this time being for a retirement party. And, as usual the food and service were excellent. I've also been outside at the enclosed Bier Garten in December for a family Christmas party. ? Great place to gettogether.
Pizza is always good. I had the small Italian sub with fries. Plenty of food for one person. Fries were very crispy!!
They wouldn't allow our small dog (In his stroller)on the big patio and we were the only people out there. Front patio (where they do allow dogs) was tiny and did not have enough seats for our party to sit together.We ended up going to Gresso's down the street and ate, drank and hung out. Spent $198. We had so much fun and the beers were nice and cold.
Walked in, sat down, got served quickly. Order was accurate and the food was hot and tasty. Didn't have to wait for the bill. Our waiter was friendly and on top of things.
Decent beer selection, some local. Service was good. Food is decidedly German, which suits me. Potato salad (German style) was tasty. Sausage was a little over-cooked. Plenty to eat on the portions and cost is reasonable.
Awesome American Corner Pub atmosphere. We loved the beer choices and the food looked amazing. We stopped in for drinks.
I brought my service dog in training here, and we enjoyed our experience until we were leaving. When we got up to leave, the bartender said “I didn’t know you had a dog, we don’t allow them for the future.” I let him know that it was a service dog in training, and he said “I see, we still don’t allow them.” I let him know that was illegal, to which his response was “You’re the second person to tell me that today, but we still don’t allow them.” I reiterated that this was illegal, and left without arguing further. Good food but I will not support their establishment in the future unless they make a change to this discriminatory and illegal policy.
Came in for a late lunch and had a great experience! We both ordered the special which was a southwest chicken salad. It hit the spot! Our bartender, Caryn, was so sweet and kept the drinks flowing. I love the feel of Planks. Lots of regulars. Yhe inside has a lot of character and the outside patio is big and covered so you can be out there year round. I am excited to come back and try more of the menu!
The atmosphere, food and service was wonderful. We were there on St. Patrick's day and they even had some Irish folk dancing going on. Excellent choices for craft beer also.
