we are here now and have had an amazingly horrible experience as we have to beg the people to get plates and they said they were out of forks when I bought a salad, they are out of Parmesan cheese, out of their bread sticks that go with the salad, and my family had to sit apart because all the tables were dirty what a waste of spending $43.00. Oh... just realizing we never received the cheese bread we ordered as well. Great place don't know if they're giving a discount for good reviews lol but definitely NOT worth the hype. ?
I am very impressed with the service and meal I received!! I found my new favorite spot for when I’m in town!! It takes a lot to impress me since my husband is a high end chef ? he’s met his match!! ? The staff was extremely personable and friendly!! The food went way beyond my expectation and was better than the meals I had in high end restaurants while on my trip. You will have to see for yourself. I had the arugula salad, some cheesy bread and the strawberry and chocolate calzone. I posted my layout so you can see for yourself. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place out if you have a chance! I bet you will not be disappointed!!!!
We are visiting Columbus and decided to try Pizza Rustica because it was convenient to our hotel. I'm glad we did because we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The pizza was good, the crust was not too thick or thin and we enjoyed that it was crunchy rather than soggy (the kind person offered to make us a new slice if it was overdone). The portion was generous and it was very tasty. The highlight though was the friendly man (the owner?) who not only made sure we were happy with our pizza, but also took the time out to chat with us and make us feel welcome. We are here visiting OSU and we are now impressed with how friendly Columbus is, and of course my teenager loves the pizza!
Pizza is one of my favorite food and I like to try it different parts of the world. Amazing owner, very delicious pizza and chicken tenders, also very clean restaurant. I hope I can come to Columbus more often and have a pizza in Rustica! I’ll definitely miss. Thanks for amazing dinner experience. Btw I don’t know why I can’t add delicious photos of this pizza lol ?
Great service even though they were closing, definitely seemed more like a lunch place than a dinner place but was still great
Basic fast pizza joint serving pizza by the slice, calzones and some hot sandwich options. Service was friendly, helpful (to a first-time customer) and reasonably quick. Had a pizza slice to share and a meatball sub. The latter was actually pretty good (better than Subway). The pizza unremarkable, but edible. Not a bad choice if you are looking for a quick bite before an event at The Palace (though a far cry from fine dining) or if you have business near the Statehouse. I'd go here again, but it probably would not be my first choice.
Pizza did not meet the expectation. Service and location is great. But mediocre food

I ordered a "Margarita Pizza" & an order of mozzerella sticks.The "Margarita Pizza" was NOT AT ALL a Margarita Pizza, which typically has very little pizza sauce (if any), tomatoes, dolups of soft mozz cheese, fresh basil LEAVES, & olive oil.This pizza was pizza sauce, regularozz cheese, & an INSANE amount of dried basil - like you would sprinkle on food, not cook INTO a pizza. Unfortunately, this made the pizza rather inedible.On top of that, the mozzarella sticks were dry & cold. Cold I can deal with, but they were SO dry & tasted very bland.The ONLY saving grace is that I was able to get the "Tuesday Special", which was only $13 for a LG pizza. But if I had known, I would have just gotten cheese. That might have not had all this dried basil in it.
Had a great experience as a family, with a few other families. The pizza and gelato was fantastic. The owner was very nice and hospitable!
