Normally we have good service here... but 2-3 days ago we went and every staff member did something Wong. (I use to work here as well just at the easton location) the person on the "stone" as we would call it at piada had a sour not so nice look on her face, an airpod in, and almost forgot our seasoning and oil on the piada, as well as rushing. My boyfriend and I both asked for double crispy and she didn't say it loud enough for the cook to hear as well as he wasn't in his position. The next girl could barley hear me and knew we both ordered double crispy which that was from the girl on stone telling them. She finished our piadas and all of them including the cashier knew by now we were waiting on our meat to be put on the chef got back they still were quite our food sat on the counter with the vents blowing right on it for over 10min. Before someone finally said something to the chef (because they could tell I was getting irritated) and I could not find the chef (the manager that we actually would call them at work not the behind the counter cooking chef) to explain my frustration with. In the end we waited over 10min. For just the protein for our meals and weren't even offered a drink (which we would have been told to do with how long that customer has been waiting.) I would have given a higher rating if the last service didn't upset me so much knowing the business pretty well.
It was good food, however I got the cannoli chips and dip to go, I got home only to find out they gave me ranch with the chips.. I like 45 mins away so I couldn’t just go back and be like yeah I need dip, I was just disappointed because I really wanted to try some
The food for this restaurant is amazing! I'm only giving a three because the app does not reflect the customization of all their food options. You can order a custom pasta bowl inside, putting whatever you want on it. Really really great food. But you can only choose like three things unless you go inside.
When they first opened, they also had Peroni. An Italian lager beer. Unfortunately, it is no more. But, the chopped salad bowl is still my favorite. And I love sitting outside on a nice day and sharing lunch with a friend. Or even the grandma and her toddler grandson.
i really like piada and most of the employees here are very nice but a good portion of the time my grilled items aren't in the food. this typically isnt a problem i just call them and let them know and they resend it or refund it but this past time i called because of the same issue and the woman tried to tell me it was in the food when im clearly looking at my meatless food. she did refund me but this is an ongoing issue at this location and one of the other times when i called about it the manager said that it was a problem that they do struggle with. all that aside i really like the food here and never invisioned leaving any less than 5 stars but im getting really sick of this happening. i understand mistakes are made but this happens way too often especially for the grilled items to cosy extra.
It's...uh...meh. Not bad, not excellent. Just...ok. No mushrooms unless you get zucchini as topping. A little bit bland. Good in a pinch if you are going berserk for Italian lunch. Staff were friendly, which is a plus.
This was My first time eating here. My pasta was delicious! My daughter got a salad and there was a hair in it. That was disappointing to the both of us. Piada made it right for her though. We will go back though.
I bought 3 large size bowls of pasta but the employee didn't make it similar to each other. The make attitude when we have opinion with our meals (the consistency of 3 bowls). Then they said if we want more we need to paid more for it but it not fair for us because we paid the same price for all three but the pasta wasn't enough.
We had a great experience overall. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. It is definitely not authentic Italian street food, but still a delicious american-italian option. The cannoli chips were not my favorite, but my husband liked them. The place was nice and quite when we arrived, but it got packed pretty quickly at 4pm with the line going all the way to the door, so it is definitely a popular culinary destination!
